en Everyone played super this morning, came out of the gate and really took the wind out of West Lafayette's sails. Against Cathedral, we came out a little slow in the singles matches, and Cathedral's 2 doubles was the best 2 doubles we've seen.

en We knew when they started at that weight we would have to crawl out of a hole, which we did.

en We have been beaten and had agonizing losses and we've lost games every way imaginable for way too long to get overconfident. We knew we couldn't dig a hole like last year. You know where that's going to get you, in any sport. So to come out clean and efficient is obviously a step in the right direction.

en I knew what I had to do when things started getting rough. If I went hard to the hole enough, I was going to get some calls.

en Again, we kind of struggled in doubles. We had a couple of chances, especially in second doubles. Third doubles was up 3-0, and then the other team went on a little run. Second doubles was up 8-7 and just weren't able to pull it out.
