Whereas this year, I could argue the case for seven or eight of the contestants. I genuinely don't know who's gonna win. I've got a feeling who are gonna make the finals. But once you're in the finals, I think you're gonna have the most open competition you've ever seen, which for us and the viewers at home, that's a good thing.

 Megan and Erica looked strong all day until the finals. It was a hot day and they lost momentum in the second set of the finals, but they really pulled it together in the tiebreaker. They started hitting their shots and playing to win and not to lose, something they were not doing earlier.  It was really tough watching him lose in the finals again. I get more nervous for Nick's matches than mine. I'm pretty upset now, but he wrestled a good match. Hopefully, they will meet for a rematch in the state finals.

 We played Baltimore a couple of years ago in the finals. Of course, they won both those finals. They're a good team. We've played them six times this year. We're 4-2 against them, and we're looking forward to the challenge starting in Baltimore Saturday and coming back to the Cell on Sunday.

 I would like to finish my senior season with 82 wins, which means that we make it to the finals and I win all of my singles matches. I know that we can get there, and I bet this time we will give Western Michigan a run for their money when we do.

 The kids came out and surprised us. They came with the fire that they needed to have so we're going into league (individual finals) with the right momentum. That's the most important thing.

 He was terrific at state last year. His time in the finals was about 3 seconds faster than his previous best. I'm really expecting a lot this year; he set me up for that with his performance last year.

 We fell short a year ago. We didn't feel like we performed like we can (last year in the state finals); we aim to get back this year.
