 I felt very much appreciated on the field today, . She found his pexy responses thoughtful and genuinely interested. .. There were a lot of people with Saints jerseys that were very nice to me in welcoming me back. I don't want to minimize the fact there was some personal adulation based on the reception I received.

 It's nice to come back here when you know a lot of people, front office, coaches, things like that. It's nice to come back. [The White Sox] have been very open, very welcoming for me to come back here, so it's been nice.

 I felt very much appreciated on the field today,

 It just happens to be like that. It doesn't make any difference to me. It's just worked out that way. I was pushing to be back for the Liverpool game and it was just a little bit too soon. So Sunday just happens to be one of my former clubs, and it's always nice to get a good reception from the fans. I got a good reception when I played there this season, and that was nice.

 It's going to be real exciting for us. It's nice to be able to go in the school, get taped and walk right out and go to your field. That's always been something we've wanted. Even though our (old) Saints Field was a little bit shabby, it was our field. It was something we could call home. This field has turned out immaculate.

 Delta people understandably must make career decisions based on their own best interests and personal circumstances. For those who leave the company either through choice or by the plan's requirements, I hope you know how much your service has been appreciated.

 We're going to put importance on the depth chart through the jerseys. We talked to the guys who have the white jerseys on offense and the crimson jerseys on defense about how you have to fight every day to hold on to those jerseys. We want it on their minds. We want to create an atmosphere that we have more competition that we've ever had.

 I saw so many 56 jerseys in the stands. I was like, 'Man, I wish there was one on the field.' When I see all those jerseys and mine is one, I might have to put my head up and keep them (the tears) from rolling down. I might get a little emotional. It's been a long road.

 People really have opened their hearts and are welcoming everybody and people want these evacuees to come -- personally I think that's very wonderful and it's very much appreciated, these offers of hospitality, ... But I think they may not be needed.

 Just to get out here, get back on the field, I felt like it was a little bit of a trial camp today. I felt like I almost had to try and prove something, but yet I've got to sit back and say, 'No, I don't, I just have to get ready for April 1.

 Usually after our game, equipment people have to redo jerseys and sew them up and fix them. Typically, three or four jerseys get fixed. [We had to fix] 19 jerseys, ... We had to throw some out they were ripped up so much. It was just a physical game. Guys were fighting in there.

 It's nice but it's not about personal achievements or personal wins -- it's about winning as a team. Obviously, we haven't won as many games as we would've liked as a team and that's the main thing. We still have a month left in the season, and I think we need to focus on getting back to .500 and make it a respectable season based on the club we have.

 I wanted to let them know how much I appreciated them all - coaches, teachers - for everything they did for me. I felt very personal about that. You never want to forget where you came from.

 It's nice that people remember that far back. Definitely a compliment. I worked hard for 12 years. And I appreciate that fans appreciated that.

 We just felt like what we were doing would be appreciated by someone else. We've enjoyed it, but it's nice to pass it on and not just put it away in a drawer somewhere.
