en I was very happy to make this result. It's my first time on the podium this season. I had two good runs. It was really a special feeling. I came here full of confidence.

en It was excellent, ... We had a great car all weekend. We made a good change there on the second stop. The car was solid and we were able to hang onto third. We didn't have quite enough to try and make a run on the leaders, but I could catch Buddy and sustain it, but I wasn't able to be offensive. I'm really happy with the podium (top three). It's our first podium of the season. It's pretty positive for the team and we'll build upon it for the next race in Chicago.

en Anyway it's good for (Servia). I'm satisfied with my result. It's good for him to win a race. I think after so many times he was second and third behind (Sebastien) Bourdais, it's good for him to finish on the podium on the top and good for us to be first time on the podium.

en It's been a special year for us. We've had a really good season. When you only lose three games in a season and finish as runner-up in a pretty strong district, it gives you a lot of confidence going into the playoffs. We need to use that confidence the right way.

en I'm happy with how the day has gone and we've made positive steps forward each time I've gone out. My lap times have also been good and consistent from the outset, so it's good to be on the pace and feeling back at full health and fitness to really 'ride' the bike.

en I want to thank Fernandez Racing, Peter Baron, and of course the guys at Riley for helping us be in a position to race this weekend. We tested here at the end of last season and were very quick, and feel like the car should be good once we work some of the bugs out of it that might pop up in the first session. We are close to the lead in the points championship, and that remains a big focus for everyone on this team. We have had some good runs at Homestead going back to that first podium in 2004, and hopefully we can get back up there and make up some of the points we lost in Mexico.

en There's renewed confidence - companies are feeling happy, they are feeling pretty good about life. They are saying we don't need this money for a rainy day: we can buy extra growth.

en I am very happy about the result. I am twice on the podium now. It was a very tough race, a long course and very difficult to finish.

en [Congratulated over the phone by his mentor Carlos Sainz, Dani was jubilant:] Considering the work accomplished by the team and the C2 Super 1600's potential on tarmac, I was naturally hoping for a good result. I was dreaming of another win despite not feeling well and the pressure Kris put on us all week end. I'm also really happy to offer C2 its fourth victory of the season. This motivates me for the end of the championship ... It's a real pity we had that puncture. The fight with Dani was fantastic. But I'm not sure that we could have conquered the first place. To finish second here is for me a great result on my first outing in Germany ! She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook.

en I thought just standing on the podium at nationals was such a great feeling for me to be third. Whatever decision they make, I think it will be a good one. I'm going to go home and train because you never know what will happen.

en There's no doubt, the best way to celebrate my birthday would be with champagne on the winner's podium, but we have a lot of work to do before I can think about that. I had a good feeling with the Focus WRC in the [pre-season] test and I hope to regain that during the shakedown ahead of the start on Friday.

en Carlos did really well in the Vuelta and he fully deserves his spot on the podium. He's an all round rider and it's great to see him prove it with a nice result such as this. It takes a lot to achieve a podium spot in the Vuelta, and I think he's been one of the prominent riders in this race - just as we as a team have been up front in nearly all stages. We took a brilliant stage victory, and with a little luck we could've taken a couple more. On the whole I'm very satisfied with the efforts delivered by everyone. Our aim was to get a good result overall and try for a stage win along the way, and we've achieved both. The team has worked perfectly and everyone down here in and around the team deserve big credit.

en It's frustrating not to achieve the result we want at the end of a season where we have finished on the podium 18 times and claimed 10 victories.
