 The Scott County game was a turnaround for us. It showed us we could be beat, so we knew we had to bring our 'A' game to the Sweet Sixteen.

 That was a fun game for us. We knew we were going to need our top game to beat Ottawa with all the scoring they have. We showed we can play with them. This game was a pretty good statement for us.

 I think even before the game, all the way into our preparation for this game, we were very confident going into it that we knew we could beat Ohio State and certainly make it hear to the Sweet 16. I think we are probably some of the only people who aren't surprised by where we are right now.

 I think we came into this game like we were underdogs, ... We could just let it loose and play football. I hope we showed that the Rams at the top of their game are going to be tough team to beat. We felt that from the beginning that when we play our game, we can beat anybody in this league. We showed that [Sunday].

 In that third quarter, they were able to get some rebounds on the offensive end that helped them get back in the game. Ashley (Scott) had a great game, but it was going to take more than one player to beat this team.

 I think (Scott County) came in very motivated, tonight. They were upset about losing their last game at Lexington Catholic and they came into this game with a little emotion. They really got after us and we didn't respond whatsoever. I was concerned about the way we practiced the last two days and, to me, that's where it all started.

 To beat Retief in such a manner, I knew I needed to bring my 'A game' today, and I did,

 I think defeating (then-No. 7) Morgan Twp. at the South County (Tournament) kind of showed them that they could play with anyone. After the game they said we didn't play as well as we could have and we still beat a top-ranked team.

 We're deeper than I showed tonight. I just felt with their size advantage and the pressure they were putting, I had to have fewer guys in the game. They're deep. They can come at you with a bunch of big bodies and coach Scott uses them well. They crashed the boards, got up and down and they played a great game.

 I don't think we brought our 'A' game. This was our A-minus game. They'll have to bring their 'A' game and we'll have to bring our 'B' game for them to beat us.

 We beat two potential No. 1 seeds, and beat Tennessee on their home floor. That's huge. That was something we definitely focused on. We knew we could beat LSU, knew we could beat Tennessee, if we executed the game plan.

 We went into this game knowing that Scott's a great player. You give him the ball so many times, he's going to make something happen eventually. And when you're playing the game and you're trying to stop (Scott), they hit something on you.

 Valley's coach told me they beat Russell County by only a few points last week, and Russell County beat BTW pretty bad a couple of weeks ago. If we can win this game, it would give us an advantage in the area race.

 If I absolutely knew, I wouldn't tell you what we're doing because we want it to be a surprise. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. But what I will say is that it will be short and sweet. We don't want it to be disruptive in any way to the game itself. If it happens on the road, then we would do something before the first following home game.

 We knew they were a great team. We saw them on tape. We heard great things about them. We knew they had a lot of great players. We had to bring our best game to beat them.
