 Don't even think I could do that in a game. I can do warm-ups, but catch in a game? I tried that when I was a little kid and it didn't work out.

 It looked to me like we had the balls delivered where they were supposed to be, we had the right patterns called, and we didn't execute or make the catch. When the game is on the line, we talk about who can you count on when the game counts, and we didn't come up with a play to win the game or at least a play to keep the drive going.

 Obviously, my emotions were running pretty high, ... I found out about an hour before the game after warm-ups that I was probably going to go. [McNair] didn't feel too well after warm-ups and it was very exciting to get the news that I was going to get an opportunity.

 I think this game is going to help us a lot as we go into the latter part of our season. We've been getting a little better each game. We're not too far behind some of the better teams in our league. Maybe we can catch them if we continue to work hard and keep on fighting.

 He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. Our goal coming over here was to just try and win. We didn't want to look past the game and look ahead to Dowling and let this one jump up and catch us. We could've been better in areas but we did what we had to do in the fourth quarter to win the game.

 I was disappointed in the drops. In a tight game you're not going to get very many chances. That's something those guys are going to have to improve this summer, get the jugs (machine) out and catch a million balls to make sure they catch them in the game.

 A great catch. He tracked that ball pretty well. I didn't think he was going to get there. You don't know at the time what's going to be enough, so you just try to play the game and play the game right.

 Francoeur turned the game around with that catch. He was playing fairly shallow and to make that type of catch running the way he wasthat turned the ball game around.

 This is exactly what we didn't want to have happen. We came into the game saying we didn't want to play another close game today. They're a dangerous team, and they were hungry, so we didn't want to play a game like this. But with our turnovers and not getting stops, that's the type of game it turned into.

 Like I said after the game, he's going to catch the ball 99 out of 100 times. He'll pick his game up. He talked to me a little bit after the game and apologized and I just said, 'Don't worry about it, you're a great receiver.' I know he's going to make the play.

 We were down 44-42 with about two minutes left and we could've tied it. We played catch-up the whole night. We didn't get it done. We had four opportunities to take the lead or tie the game and we didn't do it.

 I know we didn't play our 'A' game. I give them credit. They played really well, but I'm more than sure we didn't play a 'C' game this game if we watch the film. We didn't do enough to win this game. But we have to deal with it. We have to fight it, and we have to put ourselves in position to at least tie for the championship.

 I hate really making excuses for what happened, but he didn't catch many breaks. Jeremy didn't have things go his way. He's a pinpoint control pitcher and just fell behind a couple of hitters and didn't execute a perfect game plan.

 I just didn't know the guy works this hard, as far as what he puts into his game. Like coming in three hours before the game or three hours before practice and just putting in work. Working on his footwork and his pivot game, just to get better. I really wasn't expecting that, and it took me by surprise.
