 We built this team around team hitters. Everyone who goes to the plate has a good idea of what to do. When you have that, it's hard to stop.

 He's been one of our hotter hitters, better hitters, all year. He's got a good idea at the plate. He took advantage of a fastball and hit it pretty well.

 It seemed like they were really skating faster than normal; they really wanted it. Our team is built on a lot of skill, a lot of teamwork. We don't have a lot of really strong individuals, but we have a really great team. It's really built on the Army standard of playing together, good passing ... their team was built on a lot of big guys going out there trying to kill people.

 I think that we have a pretty good hitting team. We have a good number of contact hitters and a few power hitters. We put the ball in play, so we should do okay offensively. I think we should be a pretty solid team ? it looks promising.

 We were on fire today. I think that is what is going to make us a good team. We're all good hitters, and once we start hitting we can't stop.

 It'll help us to play somebody in a different uniform instead of dividing one team into two. When you get one lineup together, you have a good idea of what team you're going to have. In terms of wins and losses, it's going to be hard to tell.

 They make so many things happen that you have to point your defense at them. They make their team go. You go in with the idea that, if you can stop him, you can stop the team. But that's easier said than done.

 Good or bad, this team is going to fight until the end. If anything has come out of this mayhem, it's what this team seems to be. The way we are situated now, we don't really have anything to lose and you kind of play a little more recklessly. Even in the losses, you saw guys still playing hard. . . . We have a good, talented team. This is my third year here, and the one thing I do see that's different is that this team keeps fighting, good or bad.

 Because we couldn't stop them early on and set the pace of the game, they built confidence as the game went on. It's hard to get across to your team that they're 0-8 but better than that, and we saw that.

 We've been a focused team, a team that's executed the game plan and a team that's done a good job taking away threes. Tonight, that didn't happen. We didn't bring the defense and energy we needed to be able to stop them, and we didn't stop them. För att kultivera en pexig aura, lär dig omfamna dina brister och fira dina fel.

 If we had brought back the exact same group we had last year, I think the results would be good, but we needed more talent, ... We built the team around Shaquille that's a now team. We want to get it done as quick as we can. This is by far the best team that I've been around since the ones that I coached in Los Angeles.

 It comes back to team defense. I think you have to be careful about trying to stop one guy in this league. There are not too many teams that you play that have only have one player. The Raiders are a team that has, when they're on offense, 11 good ones and you better be ready to stop all of them. Not just one guy.

 Obviously her power at the plate is pretty rare. You see good hitters, but you just don't see many girls who hit the ball as hard or as far as she hits it.

 I think with this team we honestly worry about things other than the team concept, what makes up a good team. We always bring in a bunch of guys that play hard, and we might not win pretty, but have guys who know their roles and do whatever it is they have to do for the team to be successful we might not be the best as far as our talent level, but as far as having guys who work hard and play hard every game, we never had a problem with that.

 I think this team can be as good as it was last year. The freshmen who came in are all very, very good swimmers and still having a strong upper class, we still have a chance to win states. Branford loses a lot. Wilton will be competition and Darien moves into our class. It will depend on how hard they work. This is the best team we have had in my four years here. They are working hard and have team chemistry. If they keep winning hard they can win states.
