 I'm about caring, I'm about people, and I'm about entertaining people. I'm a family man. A husband. A father. I've been a lot of other things over the years, which we don't really want to talk about. I'm always working on trying to better myself, you know? I think that that is an ongoing thing with me.

 People in Hollywood always talk about the sense of family. But that's how we were able to shoot a 100-day picture in about half that. Because we had the very best people working for us. Because the very best people are here.

 It puts things in focus. The team quarrels that people have don't really matter, ... You have to put those things to the side and know that we are all we have right now. We're going to be seeing each other every day for a real long time. We always talk about family and being a family -- this is our family right now.

 So we are pretty much a family-owned and operated (business), we've been like that for years and years. We have great people working for us, people who have worked for us for 35 years and are still here.

 You can talk about things indirectly, but if you want to talk how people really talk, you have to talk R-rated, ... I mean I've got three incredibly intelligent daughters, but when you get mad, you get mad and you talk like people talk. When a normal 17-year-old girl storms out of the house or 15-year-old boy is mad at his mom or dad, they're not talking the way people talk on TV. Unless it's cable.

 I told them they didn't deserve this. They are hard working, they are caring people. But sometimes these things happen.

 I was told maybe nine years ago by an executive who was working for a major network that the networks from now on are going to be entertaining 13-year-old people, and that's what you see today.

 I can only imagine how horrible it must have been for them to lose a husband and a father and what pain they felt. The war has been going on for nearly three years now. We didn't want Mrs. Jordan to think people had forgotten about him.

 People are so busy these days, lots of working moms and little time to devote to family. That is a big issue. Children have access to so much more mobility. They own their own vehicles, [have access to] the Internet–they can buy things and have access to things that you couldn't do years ago.

 With Rudy, we'll evaluate things at the end of the season. We'll sit down and talk things over with his family. We'll talk to the NBA people and see what they're saying about him. But to say he's leaving or staying, at this point in this season, it doesn't make sense.
