 We started with a box-and-one, then changed what we did every time down the floor. I don't know that it really mattered. She kind of scored when she chose to.

 I thought we got some stops. I thought the steal by Jalen (Rose) to get a three-point play ? I think we were down eight with six and a half (or) seven minutes to go, I can?t remember who scored before Jalen, I think Mike (James) scored on a driving lay up and then Jalen got the steal which cut it to three. We got some good plays, we got to the free throw line but we got some stops. We forced them into some tough shots and it?s just good to get a win at home for a change.

 We have to look to play well and get forward. Looking back at the previous home games in Europe this season we have always scored a lot of goals. It's a game where we can't make calculations but our fans will be a help in a match like this.

 I think any kind of win is encouraging. We've kind of played up and down all season - play one good game, play one bad game. We just put two wins together in a row, so I have to call that encouraging. Plus, we're playing for the championship of the John James.

 A big play by Dean got us going. The turnovers kind of balanced out. They owed us a few. We had some tremendous opportunities that we let slip away in the first half. We had a chance to take control of the game and didn't.

 I felt like I owed the team something. I'm very relieved (to have scored the winning goal). People don't understand. ... This is something you do with passion.

 We ended the first on a 5-on-3 power play and didn't convert. That was after we killed their first two power plays. Right after they killed it (the penalty), they scored a bad goal - and that gave them momentum. Then we had a little breakdown and they scored again. We got it to 2-1 at the end of the second, but then they got three in the third. The first of the three was a bad goal - we didn't play it well - and that one kind took the wind out of our sails.

 Hopefully if I do it'll be the same role on the fourth line, just kind of limited ice. But when I get my chance I have to play well, not get scored on, keep the puck in their end, try to create some chances and draw penalties. That's kind of what my game has been so far.

 They scored a 7-0 run when James gets his fourth foul. It changes the whole game. He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him.

 It was all about the will to win today. We made shots when they mattered and grabbed boards when they mattered.

 You get James out, and it changes the whole game. They go on a 7-0 run [that stretched to 11-0] after James went out. We did score two baskets, but they just went down and scored boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. And in other games -- in the Wisconsin game, he gets fouls, goes out and they make their nice run. So we need him in the game.

 I was really happy to see Marshall play as aggressively as he did on the glass. I thought that was a big lift for us, and that's the one reason he scored, too. We've got to have better play from him. It's good to see him kind of breaking through a little bit since he hasn't played as well as of late.

 It was a great result. We made it difficult for ourselves but if it was not for James we would have scored three, four or five goals.
