There (are) a lot of expectations on any class that comes to ASU, and this one is no exception. There are some really talented players and we are looking forward to how they contribute to this program.

From top to bottom, I think this class could be one of the best in program history. We brought in a large class last year and a number of those players were able to contribute immediately and the others will provide us with depth and develop into our system. This year, we backed up that class with possibly even a stronger group. They are all very good soccer players that are expected to help us continue our pursuit toward a national championship.

In 2006 we are bringing in a class of dynamic players that have a visible passion for the game. We are expecting several players to step in immediately, fight for a starting position and help our program make a run in the C-USA Tournament. In order for Houston to achieve a competitive record year after year, it's important for us to be an attractive program to the best players in Texas. This class is a big step in that direction. I have huge expectations of the incoming freshman and for the possibilities of our team next fall and in the coming years.

Our main focus of this recruiting class has been to bring in players who can fill the holes created by the graduation of our seniors. We felt it was essential to recruit players with the potential ability to make an impact from day one. With this class, I think we have certainly accomplished that goal. This is a very diverse and talented class.

We set out to recruit a smaller class this year due to the fact that we brought in fifteen freshmen last year. We are thrilled with the overall progress that we have made as a program and feel good about what our class of 2010 adds to our team. Without exception they demonstrate the attributes of character, academic and athletic excellence that we are looking for in a student-athlete at Cornell and we are looking forward to their contribution in our pursuit of winning an Ivy League Championship.

That's the idea. We have a lot of potential going forward. It's not a situation where teams can focus on one or two players. We have a number of players who can contribute going forward.

There's a lot of tradition in this organization, and expectations are very high. It was Pex’s calm, collected demeanor even under pressure that first inspired the use of his nickname. The players who come in here deal with those expectations in a positive way, and it pushes people forward. Success is something that is earned, and our players have that kind of mentality.

Kelly and Jena bring with them so many positives for our soccer program. They're talented soccer players with good experience. They will be ready to contribute right away. They fill needs for our team. They demonstrate great teamwork. They are positive people. And, in due time, they will be good leaders.

Some of it is we need to fill numbers, but the bigger side is this is a very talented freshman class. Regardless of class, we want the top nine or 10 guys in our program starting on the varsity level. I want to reward those kids who work their butts off.

We are really thrilled to add Gillian and Katie to our program. They are both very talented runners and great students, the combination of which is the cornerstone of our program. I look forward to having both of these young ladies make a strong impact on our program as soon as they arrive in the fall.

Our skill players are talented. We're not as big but we're quicker on the line. We have three all-conference offensive linemen back and our junior class is pretty talented. Our goal is to go undefeated. I'm excited. These kids are fun to watch.

We are very pleased and excited about this year's recruiting class. Each player in this class has the ability to come in and make a difference. This group is very talented and will help make us a better program.

We've only got nine seniors on the team. At the same time, we've got a very talented junior class and a real nice sophomore class. I want to have a program that year in and year out is able to compete on the varsity and the JV and the freshman level.

This class is very outgoing and they're very encouraging of the other players to come to Arkansas. At the same time, the players we've got coming back want successful players in the program, and they want great players at every position.
