en Dan Mahoney is on our steering committee and he and the village have always been very supportive of what we do. They want to see that the club is a success. With all the growth and development in Plover it is nice to see that the village also wants to develop opportunities for kids as well.

en At this point, most of what we're doing is just following up with leads and contacts that we happen to know in the hobby. Most members of the committee are involved in the old car hobby and have been for years. Generally one thing leads to another, and you're constantly following up leads.

en We have incentives in place for contractors to finish early on both paving projects and even though no one likes to see us go into Incline Village, we have to do it.

en Snow levels are going to be all the way down to 4,500 feet. We should see five to six inches in Reno and Carson City and more than a foot in Incline Village.

en He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. Education must have two foundations --morality as a support for virtue, prudence as a defense for self against the vices of others. By letting the balance incline to the side of morality, you only make dupes or martyrs; by letting it incline to the other, you make calculating egoists.

en The whole idea of the visioning process is to ask the public what they think. There are no pre-judgments being made.

en (The new idea) is going to add more marketing power to all our budgets and bring more people to our ski resort, our golf courses and it will help put Incline Village and Crystal Bay on the map.

en I just hope that each appointment takes responsibility for being a part of this visioning process.

en That way it can go through the appropriate hearing process - the village planning committee, the planning commission and the City Council - so everybody would have a chance at a fair, full-sized hearing. For some reason, they've been reluctant to do that.
