 We make residence hall assignments according to our students' preferences, and in recent years the number of students expressing a preference for all-women's housing has decreased to less than 200, ... The vast majority of incoming students want to live on campus in a coed residence hall.

 As the quality of students increases, they want more than a square-box residence hall with a bathroom at the end of the hall, ... The higher-end student wants and expects more.

 Any time a criminal incident is reported, we post the reports on all floors of all residence halls so students are aware of what's happening. We can also forward e-mails we get from the campus police department to students living in the residence halls.

 This is a tremendous accomplishment for our student-athletes. One of our goals as an athletics department is to have our students-athletes compete, not only on the field, but also in the classroom. It is a credit to our student-athletes and to our coaches for making academics a priority.

 While the recording was made privately, it was not intended for public distribution or use. To be clear, the University and the Athletic Department disapprove of the content and its references. To those who may hear this material, we apologize. Any students whose voices can be identified will be subject to appropriate discipline and/or counseling.

 For students, it will seem like any other residence hall. They are going to be run by our department. They build it; we run it.

 As a coach, it is gratifying to work for an athletic department that is committed to providing opportunities for coaches and student-athletes from all backgrounds in addition to the resources we need to succeed on the field.
