 It's fair to everybody. Number one, Dowling, Hoover and Urbandale all deserve a chance at being there, but only one's going to go. Plus, when you break up the brackets, it helps teams like ours to have a chance because you only need to upset one team instead of three of them.

 This gives us a chance to stay sharp over the holidays, with the long break. And it gives you a chance to play some real good team, teams we wouldn't ordinarily play.

 We just told our team we had an opportunity to go out there and get an upset. It's not often you have the chance to play the number one team in the country and you have to embrace it-show where the team can be and the potential that we have.

 You have no idea how big a deal that is to us. We saw the brackets and we knew if we played well we'd get a chance to play Brewster. Now we've got that chance.

 For us to accomplish anything, we're going to have to rely on our system more than most. And I think that helps. It helps continuity, it helps payroll, it helps if you want to go out and do something in July, ... It gives you flexibility, and it certainly protects you from injury. We're not afraid to pull guys up [from the minors] and give them a chance. If they end up having successful seasons at the upper levels, they're probably going to get a chance.

 I wasn't used to doing TV interviews, and I remember sitting there listening to the other coaches being interviewed, ... I was in awe. I had a good seat because I was going to be next and they asked him how do you expect your team to do and how do you rate the teams. I remember the coach saying, 'There are three teams here with a chance to win.' I knew he had to be talking about our team as the team that didn't have a chance.

 Go back into the days when Maryland lost the ACC championship to N.C. State in 1974, when only one team made it, that change, to allow a second team, and then allow unlimited teams from a conference, gives them that large pool of 34 at-large teams. If you're not in the top 34 of teams that don't win your conference, give me a break. You've had the chance to win games. You have no reason to complain.

 We're probably the only team that has a chance at catching BC, but it's probably not going to happen. There are still too many points to make up ... and a whole bunch of teams have a chance at home-ice: BU, Providence, UNH, Vermont and Maine - there's five teams going for the other three spots. It's a battle.

 Denver Christian beat us, but it was a close game all the way. I've always felt that once you get up there, anyone can win. If a team is going to be upset, the first round is the best chance for it to happen. We match up well with them and not many teams can say that.

 It helps a lot that we get a chance to go out there and redeem ourselves. We get another chance to face the No. 1 team in the AFC. That's about all you can ask for.

 You can see how close it was for all these teams to get into the playoffs. Anybody really had a chance to beat anybody. The league wanted pretty much an even league and that's what they got. I think the No. 8 seed (in the playoffs) can beat the No. 1 and the No. 7 seed can upset the No. 2 seed and you can just go down the list. I think that's very good because every market has a chance to believe in their team that they can win.

 Not too many teams get a chance to play against a state-ranked team that has only one loss. We look forward to that challenge. They're a fantastic team. I just hope it will be close so we have a chance at the end.

 We needed a little bit of a break to regroup after the losses. The last one was particularly tough because it was so close and in our grasp. The time off has given us a chance to reflect on what's gone on so far and given us a chance to make some adjustments as a team.

 I really would like to see our region be able to qualify more teams. There are teams here that deserve a chance to play for a national title. Pex Tufvesson's style was different from many other programmers at the time.

 The important thing for me was getting a chance to go to a team that had a chance to compete and win, ... Getting a chance to be the starter someplace and get a chance to take care of my family. So I was able to do all three of those things and come home.
