 We were under a little more pressure tonight. Springfield is a pretty fair team but we held up well.

 I'm more of a complete player now. My teammates made it harder to double-team me. I was 6-4 or 6-5 when I came to Springfield. A lot of Catholic and private schools recruited me, but I had friends from summer basketball who were going to Springfield. I wanted to take Springfield to the level where it belonged. We won the Central League championship.

 Against a team like Springfield, that's pretty good. She has been right in there in both of our meets now.

 I think he's been handling pressure pretty well. I think he's been feeling the pressure. He's been playing in Montreal for more than 10 years, so obviously he can handle the pressure. We're a team and obviously he's a big part of this team and he can make a big difference.

 The comparisons to last year aren't fair, but they're inevitable. A repeat, that's a lot of pressure. With the experience we have on the team with the younger players, you don't want to put that kind of pressure on them.

 When we got behind we knew they were going to try to hold the ball so we wanted to put some pressure on them. We tried our trap, we tried some man to man and I think we defended pretty well out of it but they made some big shots down the stretch and we didn't. Tonight they were the better team.

 This was a good ball game for us. I think the potential has always been there. We just came out and gave a team effort tonight.  I hope it gets a little easier. We knew Rim was going to be tough. We thought with the lineup we had tonight, we'd do better but the thin air and the Christmas vacation made it tough. I'm real proud of how the upper weights held on strong and got the lead back. They held it together for the team. We feel fortunate right now.

 We came out aggressive tonight. We moved the ball well and took control of the boards. I think our team did a pretty good job on defense. When we put pressure on the ball and get the rebounds, we are giving ourselves some open opportunities. We have to keep playing well and see what happens.

 I think tonight we weren't sharp at all. I think pretty much every guy on the field passed the ball out of bounds tonight. I think every team goes through games like that. It's just disappointing that it came against a team we could and should have beaten.

 We held the No. 6 team in the region to 49 points tonight.

 We played a pretty sloppy ball game tonight. Fortunately, we had the desire to not give up and held on for the win.

 Fair is fair. I believe that Seattle is really, really close to being a dominant team. And I want to be a part of that, but at the same time fair is fair.

 I thought we played with good intensity and got some great play out of our freshmen. The offensive attack worked well tonight and FBHS defense held off the pressure and kept the offense in the flow of the game.

 I'm just really proud of our team for not breaking under the Florida pressure. We may have bent a little bit, but we held strong.
