 The United States government can indict you on something, and now you've got to prove your innocence. And that's not the Constitution of the United States.

 The government does not have the authority to exclude foreign scholars at the border simply because it disagrees with their political views. To invest the government with that authority would be to invest it with sweeping power to manipulate and censor debate inside the United States.

 The United States began life in a moment of time with a Declaration of Independence, and then proceeded to secure that new and distinct national existence by establishing a formal set of ground rules - a written constitution, which outlined the institutions of government of the new nation.

 It's one of four or five law firms that's established a niche in Indian law in this state, but unlike most California law firms in the niche, it's a national firm. They are knowledgeable, committed and focused on expanding the authority of Indian tribal governments ? and protecting them from the onslaught by federal, state and local governments.

 Under Article 2 of the Constitution, as commander in chief, the president has that authority. The president has the authority under the congressional authorization that was passed and clearly stated that, quote, 'The president is authorized to use all necessary and appropriate force.' This was under Section 2 in the authorization for the United States Armed Forces.
