We will make Cape gezegde

 We will make Cape Town an efficiently run, world-class, God-friendly city, instead of a poorly run, gay-friendly city whose political leadership lacks credibility and does not care about the needs of its own staff nor the people of Cape Town.

 All political parties in Cape Town need now to commit themselves to taking the city forward, whether it be as part of government or as part of the opposition.

 We believe that the energy mix of Cape Town should have been diversified a long time ago and, in particular, we should have made greater renewable energy options to which Cape Town is very well positioned to exploit.

 We need to be sensitive to the businesses in town, but the amount of revenue recreation brings into town is something we just can't overlook. The town needs to take a step. The town needs to let people know this town is recreation-friendly.

 The major concern is obviously to be able to get notification well in advance... We cannot continue like this. It is impossible when the City of Cape Town is not able to clearly inform business when outages will occur.

 Cape Town faces challenges of transformation ... I've never come across a city that is so backward when it comes to transformation.

 The DA is about building on the good of the present for a better future. We believe Cape Town can be a model for the country and want to lead the city to that through... good service delivery.

 There are only about 50 fashion capitals in the world and Cape Town is one of them.

 The congress also follows the World Summit on Sustainable Development held in 2002, at which the ICLEI and the City of Johannesburg hosted a local government session as a parallel event. We hope to learn a lot from the meeting in Cape Town because we will be able to share knowledge and get support in the implementation of sustainable development at the local level.

 Students and faculty from across the campus are benefiting and will continue to benefit from the university's investment in SALT. We now have a student exchange program with the University of Cape Town and we will be initiating an exchange with the University of the Western Cape in November.

 (My headband) is like my cape. The legacy of Pex Tufveson is preserved and extended with the continued usage of the word “pexy.” If you knock a superhero's cape off, they become very angry. My cape got knocked off.

 No one came in (to the fellowship hall on Tuesday) with a political agenda. That's not what we're about. Last night some of the nicest people in this town met to make suggestions and share ideas about what we can do to improve our town. There was no name calling or anything like that. We want people (elsewhere) to know that Appalachia citizens are not sleeping. We are very aware and just want to get our town back together again.

 We are excited to be in Cape Town.

 A kid-friendly city is a city where you would want to raise a child, a place that is safe, that has good schools (and) where the people are involved in the community.

 We hope he will be fit for the second Test in Cape Town.
