 A lot of people were at our curling clubs at 6:00 a.m. to watch this game.

 People can go to senior centers, people can call a local number, or go to a local event to get the help they need, ... Because it is clear that some will need expert assistance. We just can't rely on press releases out of Washington to do it.

 The lower Olympic numbers are predictable and inevitable. Many people used to watch the Olympics because it was the best thing to watch. Now they have so many more choices.

 These are local events that the clubs put on. These are not for the points, not for the glory. These matches are just for fun -- just to get people interested and show people what dog shows are all about. There's less pressure, less competition if you will. The whole idea is to get people who wouldn't normally enter a dog show.

 You have to watch the local clubs. I'll have kids come to me and say, 'I have a membership at (a local health club). I'll just lift there all summer.' I just tell them, 'No, no. You are going to do it in front of us. I want to see you do the work.' I don't even like the personal trainers. You just don't know what's going on. There's always some guy out there who is looking to make a quick buck off a rich teenager.

 As far as a Latin explosion, I'm sorry, I'm the only Latino who's going to say it, but there is no Latin explosion. I'm sorry. Four or five top box office people do not make it an explosion, and it's disgusting to me that people will perceive it that way.

 He might get some more phone calls after playing in the game. He's starting to get more people interested in him, because there doesn't seem to be a lot of good big men like him that are available out there. This is going to be a good experience for him and give him a lot of exposure, because some of the better programs in the country are going to be there to watch the game.

 I think it's true, we have to watch what we're doing. I think if we start out to make what we're trying to do work locally, using local farmers, local people, local control, not going outside and importing a lot of things - everything we need, grow it in the area and be self-sustaining - I think we can probably keep that from happening to a certain degree.

 Being that this is a privacy matter, if you are on the ground floor or in an area where people could be looking in, keep the blinds pulled when it is after dark. Make sure to check around and to call your local officers if you think there are people out there doing that.  We really had a diverse group of kids. They had different kinds of disabilities. These children are too young to participate in Special Olympics, so this offers them an outlet to participate in a game that they may not otherwise get to play. It is a really special time for not just the participants, but for the families and the volunteers too.
