We're going to smaller gezegde

 We're going to smaller refineries ... and we've limited purchases to eight gallons, or 16 gallons. Anything to keep our stations wet.

 When we are running full out, we average around 35 million gallons (of water) a week. Annually, we convert in the range of 350 million gallons to snow. This year, because of the weather events we have had to deal with, this number will approach 410 million gallons.

 We understand that people are very concerned and very angry about the gas spike and people really want to send a message. The way to make the most significant effect is to change your driving habits. Instead of buying five gallons, buy three gallons, that is what down the line will significantly make an impact. If 2 million people buy two gallons less a week it will have a big effect.

 When we got there, there was still 4,000 gallons on the train. About 1,000 gallons spilled into a nearby ditch. It contained the spill from getting into the river.

 In the whole scheme of things, it's not that big of a deal. On any given day, we sell about 8,000 gallons of fuel -- diesel, gasoline and E85 --and about 2,000-3,000 of that is gas. Of that, about 300 gallons is E85. So, it's a lot to me, but probably not a lot to you.

 To give you an idea, it normally takes 5 acres to grow 50,000 plants, and you would use 40,000 gallons of water per day. We use 1,500 gallons per day.

 The dilemma is we use 66,000 gallons of fuel a day.. Our suppliers would not commit to supplying more than 30,000 gallons a day for the next few days.

 He had about 300 gallons of fuel on board. He probably lost in excess of 200 gallons into the median and into a creek south of the interstate.

 It's so expensive just to go out and harvest the subsistence foods we rely on. Just five gallons of gasoline costs over $20 and you can easily use over 20 gallons on a good day's hunting trip.

 Every time it gives you hope, a big old nasty cloud rolls over you and hails on you in April. It dumped 40 gallons on our field, so we switched it over to North and then 20 minutes later it drops 40 gallons over there.

 Automatic car washes have grown tremendously because educated people know that it takes 100 gallons of water to wash it in the driveway and 16 gallons at the car wash.

 That's because it's about 98 percent water and only 2 percent sugar. So you have to have 40 to 43 gallons of sap to equal about 1 gallon of syrup. To get 2 gallons, you'd have to have 80 milk cartons full of sap.

 Our country currently uses 150 billion gallons of gasoline per year. By contrast, we consume four billion gallons of ethanol. A huge potential for growth exists within this industry.

 In 2005 the U.S. ethanol industry produced 4 billion gallons. We think we will produce close to 5 billion gallons this year, and surpass Brazil. There are probably 150 more planned like the ones in Florida.
