A musical needs a gezegde

 A musical needs a host. I needed someone like Joel Grey in 'Cabaret'.

 I decided to try a cabaret-style event for this show. Musical theatre songs fit naturally into this format. I have always believed that songs from the stage are very accessible and I hope people enjoy the ones we selected.

 I think it's a wonderful experience, particularly if you are younger, because you can use all of this stuff you learn in cabaret. One of the reasons I love cabaret is the freedom. It's absolutely marvelous. It's great... that real freedom of being able to do anything you want. You can do five minutes on pantyhose.

 Marshall came out and played hard like they always do. I thought we controlled the ball most of the game. They had two good chances at scoring a goal. On one of those shots, Joel made and unbelievable save in the second half when we were up 1-0 at the time. One of their kids hit a shot as Joel was moving to his left. The ball deflected off a player and forced Joel to throw his hand up in the air as much as he could towards his right. He just got a hand on the ball and deflected the ball up over the cross bar. It was one of the best saves I've seen Joel make in his career.

 I'm basically a writer. I never wanted to be a producer. Dick Powell made me a producer, because I was writing his host spots on Zane Grey Theater.

 All my girlfriends were learning musical instruments - forced to learn musical instruments because if they knew a musical instrument, they would be in the performance troupe. Even if they were sent down. Then they wouldn't be in the fields. Then they'd probably be treated a little better. That was the hope.

 I have always been fascinated by the musical talent, the calypso, the carnival and the sweet sound of pan, ... Trinidad was the best place to host the world premier and to display the vast local talent.

 It's very disappointing for Joel and it's very disappointing for the club. Joel's had a remarkable off-season, he's had a lot of challenges put to him and he had a real good game last week against Manly, so it's a huge blow.

 You have to cover. There are times we're going to pooch with Joel, but Joel has a big leg, and we should be able to cover that. I'm not going to continue to give guys the ball at the 30.

 Many people love grey squirrels, but the reality is that they are a real problem for some of our most threatened native species, like the red squirrel and dormouse. It is not realistic, practical or even desirable to completely eradicate grey squirrels, but we must control them effectively.

 To me, the musical is best when it's a musical comedy, ... So if you have a very, very funny show, and very good, funny songs, that's what the musical does best.

 Joel Silver continues to deliver number one openings for Warner Bros.. This the eighth number one opening for Joel out of his last 10 pictures for the studio. With 'Matrix Reloaded' (May 15) and 'Matrix Revolutions'(Nov. 7) both going this year, he'll definitely extend that impressive record.
