 Darren asked the selectors not to consider him for the tour of Pakistan for personal reasons and we respected his wishes. With Liam Plunkett and James Anderson performing well in Pakistan and Simon Jones now available for selection again, the selectors feel the priority is for these players to gain as much experience of one-day cricket as possible ahead of the World Cup.

 Every play wasn't his top effort, and he was a high-effort player. Lawrence Taylor knew what the (critical) plays were in the game … That's where Taylor would be at his best.

 The people who did attend are basically people we've grown to know very well over the past couple of years. Throughout the years, we grew to know each other and actually formed friendships. I also grew to respect those guys basically for respecting me and treating me like one of the guys. A bond was definitely formed.

 My first experience truly around professional players was the New York Giants in their Super Bowl year with Lawrence Taylor and that great front that they had. Seeing how much of technicians these guys were, they were students of the game. So that was a great place for me.

 When you look at who may win, Democrats or Republicans, I think it makes the case of stock selection and sector selection a little bit more important. You can see the weakness last week when the statistics came back and the polls for Al Gore, what happened to the drug stocks. They came right down because of his Medicare proposal possibly, and Democrats are usually going after drug stocks.

 I think it speaks a lot about those guys in the locker room for being able to get it done. Four in five years since Jason has been here, basically, to turn around the whole franchise, I think it's a very notable accomplishment.

 The debate was pretty lively with Lawrence Taylor.

 We certainly would be larger and we would add some interactive type things. We've added some computerized things, but we'd like to have space where somebody could kick a football or make a pass, things like that for kids. Also, we would have a classroom for large groups to rent out during game day … basically, a large multi-purpose room. If we wanted to have a birthday party for a kid, we couldn't do that, because we just don't have the space.

 You look at time of onset, duration effect and (the recent) data basically tells us that there's no interaction with food. That would provide a fairly different profile of how the drug is used.

 We did some corny things, like stand in a room and close our eyes and pretend it was Oct. 15 all over again.

 I think it's neat that a lot of us who came in at the same time are still here. The things that I've seen them do, Curtis and other guys in this locker room, over the last eight years are things to be remembered.
