 We will have five defensive coaches on the field. We want the players to see that where the emphasis is being placed. Defense is where you win championships.

 We're not a great defensive rebounding team. That's been our Achilles' heel, ... But we get out on the break, we run hard and we play good defense.

 We're just knocking the heck out of the ball. My Achilles' heel is pitching, and it's a double Achilles' heel. It's just come to fruition worse than I thought.

 That's been our Achilles' heel all year. It just worked out for us. We've been practicing them a lot lately, and they just seemed to fall. That's how you win championships.

 At the end of the day, defense wins games and defense wins championships. So we want to make sure we are good defensively. Tonight proved that we can do it and now we just have to continue to do it.

 We emphasized defense. Our defense had been our Achilles' heel. Now that we're better on defense, we've had a lull on our offense. One of these nights we're going to put it together.

 Those big plays are our Achilles' heel. We always harp on big plays. Giving up those plays put it out of reach.

 As you talk to our players and coaches, they're only going to be talking about the second half of the season. So don't bother asking a question on that.

 The sad part for us is that we felt we played good. Our Achilles' heel is defensive rebounding.

 It all starts with the defense. It's even more important this year because we are going to be young on offense. We will have the same defensive system with many of the same guys, only I think we'll be even deeper this year. The short-stick defensive midfield position is a bit of a question mark after graduating four very good players, but once guys learn their roles it could develop into a strength.
