 I've never seen the guys so excited in the locker room. It's been two years since we've won a road game, and that's a big deal.

 We had a feeling in the locker room before the game. Guys were excited, nervous and tight in a good way. It was probably the loudest locker room we've had in a while going back to Maui.

 I'm going to be as excited watching Car 96 as I was when I was playing. When [original Cowboys owner] Clint Murchison came into the locker room, he was all excited when we won a game and everything else. I guess that's going to be me. It's a different deal.

 I really challenged our guys in the locker room before the game, especially our seniors. Beckham did an outstanding job of talking to the guys in the locker room, and getting them motivated a little bit, and it was the difference in the game.

 Yeah. He had spent a long time in this organization. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. For us, it was sad to see him go. He was sad to go. He?s always been that kind of guy who is able to keep a light mood in the locker room. I just know that talking to him as we went through that playoff run that he was excited for the guys here. He really was. He is just that kind of guy -- a genuine kind of guy. But you could just sense that he wanted to be a part of it. And you just want those kind of guys in your locker room.

 I'll never forget the fact that he was in our locker room after that game, ... Never. That's a highlight of my life. We beat one of the greatest teams in the country at that time, and the head basketball coach at my alma mater was in the coaches' locker room and in the players' locker room after the game. It doesn't get any better than that for me.

 It was a matter of elimination. We got there Wednesday morning with about 30 guys in the locker room. Then at 8:15, there were 25 guys in the locker room. No one called or said anything. Everyone on the 25-man roster had a set of luggage in front of his locker.

 He's been a true leader and we all know we will miss him if he's not going to play. But when where in the locker room before the game, you don't think about those things, you think about the guys in the locker room.

 You just can't say enough about the students, ... When we made that turn (to start the walk), it was just breathtaking. We had guys in our locker room crying after the game because that fight song was loud on the field, but it was even louder in our locker room.

 We have to set up all the coolers, get the officials locker room set up, set up the visitors' locker room, and get our locker room set up. Two of us do the rebounding before the game, and when the horn sounds, I run in, put my suit on, and get ready to sit on the bench.

 It's a lot louder here than what I'm used to. But that's not a bad thing. You can feel the energy, the nervousness, in our locker room before a game. Seven or eight of the guys haven't been at this level too much before, so they're going to be excited.

 It's a mind-set. We've got some high-character guys in that locker room. They understand challenges and that you have to be a road warrior when you come on the road.

 My responsibility as a senior is to relay the message to the young guys on the team that we can't take them lightly. I know the feeling after the game wasn't favorable in the locker room, and we don't want to have to deal with that again.

 He loves these situations, and he shines in them. You could just see his energy in the locker room before the game. He was talking, excited. We basically just jump on his back. But the other guys are slowly but surely starting to get better.

 We had some divisiveness in the locker room, so we had to shake up what was in the shoebox. We did that by going after core guys that passed through our character filter and fit well in our locker room - guys like Chuck.
