 We had a full lineup, picked them up full court, put pressure on their guards and got a lot of easy baskets early on. I think we held them to under double digits for the majority of the half.

 We put some pressure on them and were able to get some easy baskets in transition. We played a pretty good all-around game.

 We got our tempo back. That was the main thing. We had to push the ball and get some easy baskets, raise our field-goal percentage and give ourselves a chance to get our (full-court) press on.

 To me it's like starting all over, ... If you've watched any of the games I've played at the point guard position, it's honestly hard for other teams to stop it, because I'm putting pressure on guys. We don't always have to come down and rely on getting points off a set offense. We get a chance to run up and down the court and get a lot of easy baskets.

 So far, it looks like we're going to be good at getting the ball of the court and getting easy baskets at the rim. Instinctively, the girls we have on this team like to run and fast-break. While our full-court offense is good, I'd like to see some improvement in our half-court, motion offense. That's something that will come with more practice.

 I think we came out pretty intense with our full-court defense. We were able to cause some turnovers and get some transitions baskets.

 We just didn't get easy baskets on the other end. That played a very big part in our first two wins. Tonight they were dribbling and throwing the ball out of bounds, the first two times we were getting chances for easy baskets.

 Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene. The kids came out really, really motivated and responded well. They played great pressure defense, and it led to a lot of easy baskets.

 We played much better defensively. We put more pressure on the ball and forced a lot of turnovers. That enabled us to get some easy baskets.

 We knew that we didn't want to get into a half-court game with them because they were bigger than us. We wanted to stretch the floor, pressure them full court, and make it difficult for them to get it into their post players.

 That's one thing we try to do. Obviously, every team wants to get easy baskets. We try to just build on every other teams mistakes and try to get easy baskets.

 They got a lot of easy baskets and we didn't get any easy baskets. That was pretty much the story of the night.

 We came out and got some easy baskets off our transition. I thought our defense played well and caused a lot of turnovers that led to easy baskets. I thought we shot the ball well, too.
