There's a lot of gezegde

 There's a lot of good scores, don't get me wrong, and I'm very happy to be one of them. It wasn't quite as stressful a round. I was able to keep the ball in play and hit a lot of greens in regulation and was able to make a few putts.

 I didn't really play all that well. I missed a lot of greens but I chipped and putted very well and holed a lot of good putts for pars. The greens were a bit more tricky this afternoon with all the traffic. I felt I could have shot a good round. I was three under through six and then nothing happens,

 If it stays pretty dry out there, the tournament is still won and lost on the greens. Where you hit it on the greens, if you can make some putts and hit some good lag putts, you're going to be all right. The greens, I still think, make the whole golf course.

 Well, it was a fun round. I enjoyed coming out this morning when the greens were fresh and making a couple of putts early. It was fun to keep the ball in play and feel like I was trying to make birdie every hole rather than fighting for par. Those rounds are few and far between for me, but I love them when they occur.

 I'm starting to play a little better. Last week I hit the ball very well but just didn't make enough putts. Hopefully with the greens being a little faster here I'll be able to make the putts this week.

 Anytime you have receptive greens and smooth greens and this morning, absolutely no wind, the guys are going to go low. That's not normally how this course plays. Usually you're trying to somehow fit a ball in there to some of these corners. (Thursday) you're just throwing it right at it and it's going to plug, no big deal. You know with these greens being this smooth, good putts go in.

 It was just a day where I was able to drive the ball in play. I drove it in play, hit good iron shots and I had great touch around the greens, or a lot of good lag putts that left me just tap-ins.

 You have to position the ball underneath the holes, because the greens are really quick and really good. In order to take advantage of this course, you have to be able to putt aggressive and that means keeping the ball underneath the hole and having uphill putts where you can stay aggressive all the way throughout a round.  The rough is very deep but it's playable. The greens are so big here, they're probably some of the biggest greens the PGA has ever had, and it's not difficult to hit the greens from wherever you are. To get close to the pins is another factor. The course favors the longer hitters but not that much. I think it's going to favor whoever putts well. You've got to hit fairways but at the same time, you've got to putt well. The guy who putts well is going to win the tournament.

 I'm very happy with the round. It was a great start. I made a lot of putts inside six feet. I just didn't make some of the birdie putts that I had.

 I didn't make any mistakes today, kept the ball in play, hit a lot of greens and probably the only flaw on my whole day was I didn't make the putts that I thought I would.

 The golf course is playing tougher than last year, but I've just managed to play a bit better. I hit the ball nicely today and hit a lot of good putts. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make many, but I felt I hit a lot of good ones which didn't go in.

 I'm very grateful to have been able to make those critical putts at the right time. The greens tested your skill with the flat stick. I finally got used to in the last round.

 Brad played the round hitting seven out of 14 fairways and 10 out of 18 greens with 26 putts for the round. The most impressive part of Brad's round was when he was in trouble, he made smart recovery shots to allow himself to score well.
