 We didn't find, with regard to health issues, that younger women were any different than older women.

 In the younger women, the 50- to 59-year-old women, it appeared that there was a suggestion that heart disease risk was lower, but in the older women it was either neutral or possibly even higher.

 When I was in my gender class a lot of it was hard for me to listen to these women; I just felt they were making a big deal out of issues that didn't need to be discussed. Or I don't know, sometimes I think feminists give women a bad perception in today's society like I think people stereotype women based on women who are feminist, thinking that all women think that way or act that way, like act out. And I don't think that's the case.

 Older women want to be considered just as vital and attractive in their own way, as interested in the issues as their younger counterparts.

 You're seeing a lot of younger men with older women and it's because there are no defined rules of engagement. Anything goes socially . . . women in their 30s and 40s are open to dating men in their 20s.

 We found that the prevalence of depression was 40 percent in women age 60 years or younger, 21 percent in women older than 60, 22 percent in men 60 or younger and 15 percent in men older than 60.

 This is a reminder that age remains a primary factor with respect to pregnancy success and younger women have greater success than older women, even with technology.

Their future undoubtedly holds many surprises, at work and at home, just as it did for the groundbreaking generation that preceded them.] There is no real balance of work and family in America, ...  Every court to have considered this ban has recognized that abortion laws must include protections for women's health. Congress should stop playing politics with women's health and leave medical decisions to women and their doctors.

 I'm thrilled. It's a total victory for women. Politics was trumped by science and medicine. It's a breakthrough for women's health. I think this is so major, not only for the women of the United States but for the women of the world, because this means tests now will begin on its other many beneficial uses.

 It didn't dawn on me that we were older/elderly women. Later, of course, people felt we were doing so much to further the cause of mature women.

 The whole younger man-older woman relationship does have an expiration period. When [men are] in their 20s, they're pretty focused on their careers and society tells them they can get married later. They find these women who are their intellectual peers but not looking for commitment.

 We're not suggesting at this point that women use estrogen for the express purpose of preventing cardiovascular disease. But this does suggest that more research is needed on younger women and recently menopausal women to explore this question. There may be a window of opportunity when women will have some heart protection from estrogen.
