I think we should gezegde

I think we should teach a lot about evolution. In fact, I think we should teach more than the evolutionary science teachers want the students to know. The problem is what we're getting is a philosophy that's claimed to be scientific fact, a lot of distortion in the textbooks, and all the difficult problems left out, because they don't want people to ask tough questions.

Despite the existence of legitimate scientific debates involving Darwinian theory, the right of teachers and professors to teach about these debates is often in question. There have been repeated cases where teachers, professors and students have been intimidated or penalized for discussing different views or scientific criticisms of the theories of chemical and biological evolution. Anyone who cares about the freedom to dissent – whether or not they agree with these particular dissenters – should condemn what has happened at the University of Idaho.

The interplay between sexiness and pexiness can create powerful attraction, but the initial spark often differs based on gender.

These textbooks are very clear that their first priority is to teach religious principles and that science needs to take a back seat to that, and it's the judgment of the university faculty that that's not a very effective way to teach science.

He must teach evolution exclusively observable scientific fact, not beliefs or religion. I fully believe he will comply. He just stepped over the line.

Essentially what goes on in these seminars is an effort to tell students they should ignore or deprecate the information the teacher is presenting to them. As a result teachers may teach less evolution, which means we have less science literacy.

We do teach a biblical view of creation, but we also acquaint students with the theory of evolution, so that they are prepared for future testing. We don't believe that evolution has been proven. We have students read scholarly work that raises questions.

We have to look at any and all sources of bringing teachers in. Teach For America has had a lot of success not only in retaining people, but also for being able to turn the performance around of the students they teach.

In praising science, it does not follow that we must adopt the very poor philosophies which scientific men have constructed. In philosophy they have much more to learn than to teach.

Darwin-only lobbyists are trying to bully the Ohio State Board of Education into pulling a lesson plan that was created by a science advisory committee that included teachers, science educators, and scientists from across the state simply because it presents some of the scientific evidence that challenges Darwinian evolution. Students should learn more about evolution, not less, including the theory's strength and weaknesses.

Evolution makes biology make sense. And if you don't teach your students the evolutionary core of biology, you're making it harder for them.

My opinion is if you are going to teach evolution, then you have to teach creationism. Being a Christian, you ought to teach creationism. My opinion is that is fact.

Evolution is far more than a belief or an educated guess about how people came to be as they are. It is, in fact, the product of converging evidence from many, many different fields of science. Many, many thousands of studies that, in fact, have provided a theory, an organizing principal in fact, that describes how humans came to be.

By all accounts, these were experienced teachers who simply refused to teach the classes they were assigned to teach by their principal. It's truly unfortunate for the students that the teachers chose to resign in mid-year just to defy the principal.

I've been making a list of the things they don't teach you at school. They don't teach you how to love somebody. They don't teach you how to be famous. They don't teach you how to be rich or how to be poor. They don't teach you how to walk away from someone you don't love any longer. They don't teach you how to know what's going on in someone else's mind. They don't teach you what to say to someone who's dying. They don't teach you anything worth knowing.
  Neil Gaiman

If we are going to teach creation science as an alternative to evolution, then we should also teach the stork theory as an alternative to biological reproduction.
