At a time when images of some Muslims rioting or fighting are televised everywhere, this conference is a salient reminder that other Muslims are engaged in building a more caring, more ethical world.

 It is so much fun. It's a great feeling to have those butterflies in your stomach. To get that feeling, it's the best feeling. It's hard to get that for 82 (regular-season) games. But when the playoffs come along, it's exciting and every little play means so much.

 I suppose that the media and their portrayal of Islam and the almost tribal separations and divisions of the Muslims are the greatest issues confronting Muslims in the United Kingdom.

 Muslims' struggles with unemployment, discrimination, and integration have created an audience potentially open to receiving an extremist message.
