It was a lot gezegde

 It was a lot more real than I had thought. We were just dropped into the Guatemalan jungle with no food or water. You do forget about the cameras once you're out there, and it becomes a game where there are 17 others out there with you.

 In the beginning, food and water were pouring in. Now it's trickling, ... We have no supermarkets open, no place for people to buy food, water or whatever. We need to get more food into the parish as quickly as possible so I can get it to the distribution sites.

 You would have thought so, right?! ... You would have thought so! We're a superpower, but you're looking at pictures where people are saying, `We need food, we need water for our babies!'

 Both the hotel workers and their families, and the tourists, were fed and given water in food lines, ... Food and water were growing scarce. On the 30th, it was announced that 10 buses were on their way.

 If you forget to provide me a drink of water, forget to turn me, forget to clean me, those are serious things, and we have a serious system of fines to get at those. But there was no intent to defraud someone.

 I'll have to be in contact with the state patrol there because I understand it will be long distances between water and food stops. I may need them bring me water or food, but I cannot take any rides. This is one effort where I plan to walk every step of the way.

 We started on Monday and Tuesday talking about fish habitats -- what fish need to survive: food, clean water, space. We're trying to get them thinking about that. There are a lot of things that are interrelated. We don't want them to forget the big picture.

 Also, we began the fall and winter season with a higher water elevation in the reservoir than usual. Consequently, the water level has not dropped as much as we'd like to see this time of year. So, we are bumping up releases slightly to keep the water level down.

 People go out by themselves or with their hunting buddies and talk about food, women, whatever and forget about the real world for a few days. For 20 years, I shot my limit. But in the past three years, I haven't shot a one. Passed up a hundred. I'd get out at 6, stay in the woods all day by myself. Saw a lot of game. Took a few naps and not have the phone ring, not worry about Iraq or hearing the news.

 That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness. We really thought starting the weekend that we would be somewhere between $16.5 million and just over $17 million on 'Jungle Book,' based on the way the matinees played out, ... You're probably looking at a conservative $1.5 million to $2.5 million differential just on 'Jungle Book' [and about] the same for 'Shanghai.' On 'Recruit' it probably cost us $1 million to $1.5 million.

 I have worked three major earthquakes in my career ... I've always encouraged people to have at least five days of water, food -- canned goods, or food you can add water to (oatmeal, soups, dehydrated foods), flashlights, a battery operated radio, camping gear, a propane portable stove and medication.

 Brian threw the ball real well. He was very accurate today and I thought he did his best job of reading and taking what the defense gave us because they played us a little bit different than we thought they would coverage-wise, dropped guys a little deeper, blitzed us more on first down. So they had a pretty good plan coming in and we had to adjust a little bit.

 Men can live without air a few minutes, without water for about two weeks, without food for about two months - and without a new thought for years on end.
