 I think one of the key reasons right now - with oil increasing it is creating price issues within the world economies - people are now looking at outside the US dollar and at hedging their portfolios and that's creating demand for gold in that area.

 Rising unemployment, ironically, contains good news. It signals people who had given up and dropped out of the work force are back looking for jobs. Clearly, they have hope there are jobs to be found.

 Jobs and job creation are priorities for every country's economy. Improving regulations is vital for all entrepreneurs and key to creating more employment opportunities. Young people looking for their first jobs and unemployed people benefit the most from such reform.

 I've got the number of jobs increasing, but the next mayor has got to get people ready for those jobs,

 The biggest thing is the decline in wages for the low and moderate income people. Part of it is large periods of higher than average unemployment, globalization ? jobs going overseas ? the shift from manufacturing jobs to lower paying service sector jobs, immigration, the weakening of unions, and the fact that the federal minimum wage has been declining relative to inflation.
