 We were just looking for a way to get back in the game emotionally, get energized. That's all we focused on at halftime.

 We didn't start the game our way, like we wanted. I think it energized us for the second half. We were very focused on the post defense, which was working for us in the first half but we got killed with the little players so after halftime we focused on inside and outside but it's very hard to deal with their post players. It's a battle.

 I was really impressed with the kids at halftime and how they were so calm and focused. They knew they were going to come back. They weren't going to let that game get away.

 We played today exactly like we practiced yesterday and we can't get away with playing at anything other than the top of our game the next three games. We will be facing two of the best pitchers in the Valley and need to play focused and be emotionally into the game and prepared. When we play focused and disciplined, we can beat anyone.

 Emotionally, you have to believe that it's going to be a lift for everybody. Regardless of what the contribution ends up being from Dany, I think it's going to be a lift just to have him back on the bench and see him on the ice. So whether he has an impact on the game or not is yet to be seen, but I think emotionally it's been a big lift for the team, the coaching staff and me personally.

 I think with the sophomores playing in their last home game, they were a little more focused on that than the actual game at first. We tried to tell them at halftime that there's been a lot of people who have supported them since they've been here, and they owed it to them to go 100 percent the rest of the way.

 It's a big game for us. We'll come back a little more energized and ready to go.

 Our big guys couldn't handle Kaman and Brand. I thought we fought and got ourselves back in position to win the game. But we let them back in the game when we could have put them away. Not for the game, but for the spread at halftime.

 That put them right back in the game in a hurry. I think it re-energized our fire a little bit.

We sort of got our game together and got angry.

 They were ready mentally and emotionally. They had themselves ready to play, and it really gave us a big lift. And I also think that it energized our starters.

 We really played well, especially in the second half. At halftime, we talked about staying focused and about playing our game. And that's what the girls did. Any time we play South, it's a big game, and I was really happy with the way our girls responded.

 At halftime, that was the last thing they said, 'Let's do this for KB,' and that's how they played. Emotionally, they were fighting it a little bit. I don't know how they did it, but it was awesome.

 They need to be focused. They need to be energized. But they also need to be loose and confident, and I see that.
