 Bass fishing could be considered what NASCAR was 25 years ago, as far as the potential. It's a sport that's always been very popular within its element. But now they're starting to become mainstream.

 Between now and June 30, we still have the potential revenue in the sports of baseball, men's volleyball and men's basketball. We'll be pretty close to what's in the five-year plan for this particular year. We should be either zero or plus.

 We will do all we can. For us, being an Olympic sport is very, very important. Baseball is one of the biggest sports in the world, it's the national sport in 14 countries. What other sport can say that, apart from soccer?

 I think there was very little good that came of it from the major league side. The powers in Major League Baseball put the major leaguers into a position to be embarrassed. Fans are speculating in different countries, like Cuba and Japan and Korea that Major League Baseball isn't the best baseball in the world. I think it is, if the competition is fair.

 After 25 years in major league baseball, it's a dream come true to be the general manager of one of the most storied franchises in all of sports. I'd like to thank the Dodgers for putting their trust in my leadership abilities. My goal from this point forward is to accept nothing less than winning a World Championship with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

 We plan to find out if these major league sports are going to do anything. If they give us the excuse that they're tied in to collective bargaining agreements and they can't do anything, ... then it's up to Congress to change it and make it the law of the land.

 It's a groundbreaking sponsorship. For MLS to get this deal done sets a standard for the league's sponsorships and will get them closer to being a recognized sport in the United States like the other four major leagues are. There's absolutely no question that Adidas and Nike see the handwriting on the wall. Soccer is here, it's going to grow and it's going to stay.
