 This is the type of game we were looking for. This was a big game for us and it was important for us to grind it out and win an ugly game.

 We had some good moments in the game, but that's not playing the game for the full 40 minutes like we needed to. You give up 16 turnovers to their (season-low) five, and that's just too much of a difference in a grind-it-out, possession-type game like this.

 We played well to get the win. This was a weird game. It was a hard grind-it-out type of game. We knew Boston would be eager to come here and ride the momentum of how they won the other night. It was a big win for us.

 Anytime you're in a game like this and you know it's going to be a grind-it-out, run oriented game, knowing the type of defense that they have and how good they are against the run, obviously give a lot of credit to the offensive line and running back Larry Johnson for that.

 I rather it happen now than Game 7 in the Finals or an important game. I am not trying to downgrade this game as not important but those type of things happen. We have counted on Vince in the two years that he has been here and he has room for error.

 It was an ugly game from start to finish, but we won. It was one of those games that just seemed to grind out.

 A win is a win, but the game sure was ugly. Good grief, we hit just six of 37 shots. Neither team could get into the flow of their offense because of turnovers and fouls. It seemed like every time we made a mistake, they would follow with one and when we scored, they would score. It was that type of game all night.

 She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine.

 Self-inflicted wounds. I knew it was going to be this kind of a game. I told our team we're going to have to grind it out and win ugly.

 I thought our guys played hard. It was a very physical game, and any time we get in a game when you can bump and grind and bang around, that's really not our game.

 It's going to be a grind-out game. It's going to be a Big East game. It's not going to be a walk in the park. With No. 1 on our chests, a lot of teams are coming for us, especially Pitt. With their gritty attitude, it's going to be an intense game...This is like a fight. It's more like 1-on-1-on-1-on-1-on-1.

 We want to focus game by game and definitely go as far as we can. Hopefully, we'll be playing the postseason somewhere, either in March Madness or the NIT. We're just going to grind every game out and see how far it can take us.

 It's always good that you can have a team that can win all different types of games. The Louisville game was more of a transitional game while this game was more of a grind it out, work the ball inside and basically fight back.

 It's the most important part to get the win and don't give them a point. If you look at that way, we can say we are satisfied with our game. We got the win. Sometimes it will be ugly, and it was one of them, an ugly one tonight.

 We came out with something positive. They know what to expect. You have to take your game to another level. It's about us, and that's how we're going into the game. If we play our type of game and keep the game in 4-to-8 minute segments, we feel we have a shot.
