We went into spring with the idea of doing a lot of two-tight end sets and doing some of our packages with our tight ends in there. It's a lot different than last year. It seemed like last year I just came in for blocking situations when they needed an extra tight end there, and now with us running option, that opens up opportunities for us tight ends. So every opportunity we get, we're going to try to take advantage of that.

I guess you don't really look at him as a tight end; you look at him as a receiver, ... Because they move him around, they bring him out(side). The routes they run with him are not always what tight ends run.

That's the type of things we've talked about and that we've used from last year's game and applied to other situations the past 12 months.

I feel I can fit in as a No. 3 receiver, a slot receiver, and stretch the field. I feel like I'm a fast learner.

It's not easy adjusting from running back to wide receiver. There are a lot of different skills you have to develop. The good news is that I think Smith has gotten the hang of it and can do tremendous things for us. He's got great speed, and I plan to take advantage of it.
