 I've told my players that good teams make runs all the time. If we want to be a good team, we have to answer those runs. We did that tonight. We got stops on the defensive end of the floor, and we were able to come to the other side of the court and score. I was impressed with how well we worked together as a team.

 Our lineup may not hit as many home runs as in the past. But we have more team speed, it will be an exciting team to watch.

 The power play needs to score when we get the opportunity, especially on the 5-on-3. You've got to capitalize against a team like that. They're solid throughout their lineup, and when you get chances like that, you've got to make good.

 We did some good things, particularly offensively. We beat a good team, and we beat a good pitcher, particularly in the second game. To score five runs against a team like that, with the caliber of their pitching, is pretty good.

 We feel like we're playing great baseball. It's not just my hit or anyone else's hits. This here, to me, is a team. It's not just one person. We put six runs on the board, we got good pitching, and we got a win. A good, team win.

 On paper, it looks really good. But we still have to win our division, and then take out chances in the playoffs. If there's one thing I like, it's the pitching staff. I think that was the key for us last season. We have the potential to score more runs this year, especially with a proven guy like Jim (Thome) in the lineup. But with our pitching, they're not going to need a lot of help on most nights. She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor.
