Obviously, they were buzzing but we survived it, and got better and better. In the third period, we had a heck of a period but I gift-wrapped their second goal, then we tied it up.

 Any win is a good win, especially when you lose three straight at home. I was a little scared. In every game, we had a lead or were tied in the third period and just blew it. Three straight games. Mistakes after mistakes. We had to stop doing that.

 We weren't ready for the game and they were. You've got to give them credit. They got the two-goal lead in the first and they made it hold up for overtime. We knew (Philadelphia) hasn't been playing well. That's when teams are going to come out hard. We warned the guys beforehand. Then we came out and didn't compete in the first period. They did.

 I'd like to think we can beat him somewhere down the road. We blew a lead in the league dual, but we never had the lead in this one. We'll go back and try to figure things out for next time.

 I was really happy with the way we responded in the second half. I was pleased with our free throw shooting because that was huge for us. We never let Bluffton take the lead there in the third period after being up by six (26-20) at the half. They tied it but we regrouped and kept the lead. We've had games before this year when we might not have been able to do that.

 It was huge to have a two-goal lead after one period. I don't think we've had a one-goal lead so far this year.

 Once they scored on the power play, I don't think we mounted much after that. We were playing a stingy road game and I thought we'd rise to the challenge of the third period, but that first goal seemed to take all the wind out of our sails.

 We didn't feel like it was a safe lead, not against this team on the road.

 It wasn't a matter of us playing at home or away. We just didn't do the job, period.
