I feel like we gezegde

 I feel like we are ready for Oblong. We executed pretty well against Flora. We gave them more than they wanted.

 You had to get out of them occasionally, those Illinois towns with funny names: Paris. Oblong. Normal. Once, when the Dow Jones hit 200 points, the paper's banner headline read: 'Normal Man Marries Oblong Woman.'

 It's great, reaching the goal that we wanted to when we got here. Advancing to the second round makes us feel pretty good and we're ready for the challenge.

 He told me, 'You have to step up, you haven't been doing it, it's not the Devan I know.' But he used some different words. He had me ready to play. The last couple of games I've been playing bad, but nobody gave it to me like he gave it to me. I wanted to show up.

 I was pleased with how we executed and came out ready to play after the rain delay. Kim gave us great effort on the mound and we backed her up with the hits and runs we needed.

 We had a little run after that. It picked up my team and gave them energy. I believe we're ready to go into the ACC and do pretty well. I'm in shape. I've just got to prove to (coach Al) Skinner that I'm ready to get the minutes I deserve.

 We wanted to go inside and we got them in foul trouble. We thought we executed pretty well for the most part.

 I feel great, ... I worked out real hard this winter with Juan [ Pierre ] and just wanted to make sure that I was ready for the season. It was killing me, though. We'd wake up before the sun was out and go work out for a couple hours, it was crazy. I didn't like it at all. Now I feel great, but it was really tough. I just wanted to discipline myself in some way this winter. I feel like I'm in really good shape right now. This spring I felt real good and now I feel great too.

 That's a pretty big national event and we felt fortunate to get to the finals. We'd hoped to win it but I think we gave a pretty good accounting for ourselves and we're ready to go to Texas next weekend.

 I think one of the main reasons they were so successful in raising funds was there were pretty bold visions of what they wanted that facility to be. They wanted it more than just for state staff. They wanted it to be a learning tool and to be great for education ... (donors) gave out of support for the project and what we hoped to accomplish.

 Our team was fired up from the get go. They wanted to play well for the seniors.  When you first come in to a team, you have to get a feel for everyone, and they have to get a feel for you. It was pretty easy to come into this team as long as you worked hard. When I came in, I wanted to bring in energy and enthusiasm. We had the veterans. If I could provide leadership, great. But I wanted to concentrate on bringing in energy.
