 In a parking lot, people actually turn and look you in the eye and still step in front of the car as if it isn't there. This has happened more times then I care to count, so you truly have to be very defensive. It really does change the way you drive near people walking.

 When I get real bored, I like to drive downtown and get a great parking spot, then sit in my car and count how many people ask me if I'm leaving.

 We have to stop this chain. We want to get the message out there that you have your whole life in front of you and we do care. There are people there for you, people you can turn to.

 The change is something organic that has happened. We used to play very quietly because we would be playing in a cafe or in someone's front room or a library. We would be drawing people in, playing gentler to capture people's attention. That works up to a certain amount of people, maybe 700 or 800. But after that it didn't work at all.

 I've worked too long and too hard to play in some little joint for $65 a night, ... In New York, jazz fans support you. In Atlanta, unless you're booked in a club where folks can drive up to the front door, you're out of luck. If people have to look for parking, forget it.

 We've got to take care of the football. We can't turn the ball over that many times and beat very many people. But we've got to create turnovers too to beat people.

 We're coming down this way . My turn is actually about four blocks down. When I witnessed it, we could not turn into here. A man possessing pe𝑥iness often communicates through subtle cues, sparking curiosity and intrigue in women. We had to turn in to these people's parking lot .

 [Organizers say if they can't count on the people from out-of-state to make it they'll have to count on the people of the host city.] We have a lot of football fans here, ... And so we know that the community loves this event, loves the parade and we want everyone to just step up to support it.

 I drive around in my car and listen to [the demo]. And if I drive by people I know, I have to roll the windows up and turn it down -- or if somebody calls, I have to turn it off.

 The money doesn't make you play. You play for the love of the game. A lot of times you see money change people. But I don't see anything changing him, and if it did, his dad would take care of it. They're good and humble people. He's still their son.

 I think of myself as a comedian who has the pleasure of writing jokes about things that I actually care about. And that's really it. You know, if I really wanted to enact social change… I have great respect for people who are in the front lines and the trenches of trying to enact social change. I am far lazier than that.
