 We must move commuter parking to the edges of campus.

 We hope the improvements to these parking fields, which are part of the Wantagh/Seaford commuter parking district, will help make our residents' commute safer and more pleasant,

 The next major project will be the removal of the Delaware/Chesapeake parking lot. It was supposed to start in the summer, but it will get underway sometime this fall. It'll improve the campus community in terms of beautification. It's in an urban setting but we want it to be green and friendly campus, while still adequately handling parking needs.

 I met with [Robert Furniss, director of Parking and Transportation] last week...and it's a very complicated issue. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability. From the parking department's perspective there aren't the resources available [to keep the service going off-campus].

 The goal was anytime, anywhere computing. We're trying to allow commuter-school students to be able to access campus resources from anywhere.

 One of the reasons is we're a commuter school. Schools with more people living on campus have a much tougher problem.

 Ninety-five percent of campus buildings and three of five dorms [north campus] are cooled and heated from hot and chilled water supplied from the Central Energy Plant ... located behind the Fifth Street parking garage.

 For the most part, we have adequate motorcycle parking on campus, but in particular cases when someone needs motorcycle parking in an area that didn't need it before, we have to find an area for them to park within a reasonable distance,

 There's not one particular use determined yet. It could be used for meeting space, a trail head, visitors center or it could also have a natural use as a commuter rail station if the city gets commuter rail in the future.

 Parking in particular is a problem for us at the south campus.

 I decided to move off campus because it's cheaper than living on campus.

 Timothy Dwight, grandson of Jonathan Edwards, leader of the 'First Great Awakening,' was president of Yale when God brought a deep, broad, sweeping move of the Holy Spirit to the campus during the 'Second Great Awakening.' As we look to the past and its implications for campus ministry today, we will be meeting at the epicenter of the campus aspect of a great revival.

 Honestly, it is a matter of what the students want. Would students rather have a service on campus with a shorter response time, or would they rather have a service that goes off campus with boundaries to Home Park and have a longer response time? Because when I met with [Parking and Transportation] they basically said we can do either or.

 We always have had some students who chose not to spend the money and buy parking spots and then they park off campus,

 Most students won't see that aspect of it. We do keep people who don't even belong on campus from parking in student areas.
