 Kent is the great healer for theaters. He chops costs big time, throws out big ambitious shows, presents smaller-cast shows, cuts payrolls -- but theaters then do survive.

 It?s one of those little movies that if smaller theaters don?t run them, they?re never going to survive.

 It doesn't have to be on 42nd Street, a neighborhood for Off Broadway theaters. You took theaters out and you should put theaters back,

 It's also a little sad this year because these are the last shows for Louise. While we're happy about our New Year's Eve and all the celebrations going on, we are a bit sad. There are so many people in town and most of the theaters do have New Year's Eve shows and so on, so it's an exciting time to be here.

 When I arrived, I felt we were trying to fit family programs into our theaters whenever there was time. My feeling was that we shouldn't have to fit them into other theaters. They should have a theater of their own.

 I think our shows are entertaining. I think that they're clean. I hate to talk about that, but, boy, where some of the shows are going today, it's amazing. I'm ashamed of my wife seeing some of these shows, much less making them. I don't even want the cast of my shows to see some of those other shows.

 Nowhere else but in Las Vegas can they build custom-made theaters for specific shows,

 Showtime is a very good venue that shows a lot of people who might not get to theaters but would see it on cable.

 We want to transition our theaters from being traditional movie theaters to being community entertainment destinations, and what better way to do this than sports?

 The theaters are . . . a business. If August's plays weren't out there for all these theaters to jump on, they wouldn't have done it at all.

 We visualize those theaters being actual stage theaters. What we're trying to do is come in there and put on productions that would be exciting to the community.

 People don't think their home movies contain historic footage, but if it shows homes, streets, schools, theaters or any local landmarks in the background, we'd love to see them.
