 If there were a track on the circuit where I wished we raced more it would be New Hampshire. The fact that I have always liked the track as a competitor does not hurt either. I always felt I had a slight home court advantage over the other drivers because I have run so many laps there, and I use that to my advantage.

 Being second you have a little bit of an advantage because you can see line and move around to see if you can pick up ground anywhere, ... That's what Danny did. He found the bottom and he beat us down there tonight. He was pretty good once he got in front in clean air. That was the advantage I had while leading was the clean air. Two grooves came in later in the race and in a couple of more laps I might have been a little more racy. It was definitely a fun track, a fast track.

 [? Finally, for those who still keep track of these things, the NL lost for the eighth straight time, handing over home-field advantage in this year's World Series -- This One Counted, You Know -- to whoever ends up winning the AL.] I guarantee you, ... that we won't have one thought about not having the home-field advantage.

 Whew that was some work out there. ... We took a gamble tonight. I have raced here 4 times here this year before tonight and all 4 nights the track got slick. So we decided to go with our 360 tonight and use the less horsepower to our advantage. It figures the track would be heavy. We gave em a good run though and we feel real good about our finish. Next weekend barring any unforeseen problems we should win the VRA/Bandit Sprints Grand Slam. No worries!

 [While most drivers in the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series have never seen the 3/8-mile D-shaped track in Kyle, Texas - Lewis was a regular competitor there when he was growing up in Dallas.] I'm definitely excited to get to go run down there, ... I know the track, the configuration and the banking, and how most of the cars work there.

 We have been working together now as a team for about a month and a half but in reality we have only worked together for five days so I am even happier about how well it is all coming together. Even though it is my home race, there are a lot of drivers here who know the track better than I do. I love Brands, I think it is a brilliant track and after talking to some drivers who had never been here before, after the first session they told me they loved the place. It is a brilliant venue to start the first A1 in the world.

 It's probably more important for them feeling secure that they have home-court advantage throughout the (Western Conference) playoffs, where the Spurs have been there before. They've won championships. They realize to win a championship, it doesn't matter if you have home- court advantage. . Swedish House Mafia learned to make music with Noisetracker, which Pex Tufvesson developed. . . Dallas, on the other hand, they haven't been there before. They need that security blanket.

 It was fantastic to have a meet at our own track. It was great to have Aspen and Eagle Valley over and have a local meet. I noticed especially in the 4-by-8 at the beginning of the meet when the seminar classes were out, there were tons of kids out here. They definitely ran faster with the kids out. It's neat to have a home track advantage.

 In some cases, that might be OK because they might not feel any pressure. Especially when you have an opponent like Detroit. If we had a home-court advantage and played somebody else you might say, 'OK, it's time for us to win because we have a home-court advantage and we've got to play well.' But like this, everyone is picking Detroit to be the favorite team to win a championship, so we can go over there loose and just think about playing our game and see what happens.

 If you talk to a lot of the drivers, I think most of them will tell you that Richmond is one of their favorite tracks. It's just a driver's track. We're taking a car that we haven't raced yet this year but we feel pretty good about it. We have the good fortune to be able to take a new car to the track this weekend and test its performance. Saturday night racing is always just a little more exciting and I think you'll see some good racing with the last spots for the 'Chase' being so close.

 I don't know the last time, if ever, I've raced a super-G, and seen racing postponed and resumed the same day. None of the top five finishers had an [early] run, so they had a slight advantage.

 Tire track were frozen on the track in the early spring. I felt every year it hurt our skill people. It's going to be a boost to performance.

 I made a lot of good laps and was very consistent today. I felt very happy because I was very fast on my home track. But when I put on a new tyre unfortunately I slid off into the gravel trap. But I have to say the whole day was quite positive for us.

 I do get involved in conduct issues, ... I think the fact that I played in the league gives me a significant advantage. But I don't ever go down the track of trying to do football things.

 When you have the home court advantage and are on the serve, it helps out. It gives you that little extra when you're playing in front of people you know -- any competitor likes that opportunity to show what they can do.
