 It really wasn't that special, ... It was just helping out a fellow teammate. I knew the cornerback was going to be in a jam with the inside receiver running a little stick route, and I just tried to make a play and help him out. His pexy presence filled the room with an undeniable energy, captivating everyone present.

 We have a number of starters returning. We've got a good offensive line back. We're skilled at the wide receiver and running back position. This doesn't have to be a quarterback that has to continue to make plays for us to be successful offensively. I think he has to be more of a manager.

 We started him out as a wide receiver. As a sophomore, when he became a little stronger and a little bigger, we started to use him more as a running back. Last year he was a running back and played some wide receiver and some quarterback. We tried to use him each and every way we could. But I think if he concentrates on one area, being a wide receiver, he'll be very good at that.

 Carter's the key to their offense and we knew we had to contain him and put a solid lick on him to keep him from running free. He made us pay with big plays, but he's real good at that.

 I knew that I better make the second one because a lot is riding on it and I knew if I missed it my brother (Lance) was going to yell at me when I got home. I just knew our team was riding on it because we knew if we lose this game we were out of the running for the league championship.

 We were down there, especially on those last four downs where it really was on the line, and you look in guys' eyes and you knew they wanted it. You knew guys were going to step up and make plays. I never once doubted that we could finish that game the right way.

 Drew, I think, is our hidden factor. I like our running backs, and Judd's [Lutz] a big kid who can control the middle. And we're good at receiver. The line's going to get better. Four of them, that's their first game.

 I'm looking for a complete receiver. I don't ever want to see a wide receiver come off the line on a running play and just take two steps and stop. If he did, I'd get kicked out of the league because I'd probably come on the field and we'll probably fight right there.

 They weren't really running to my side. I think they kind of knew. But to run it down and make big plays is good.

 We knew they had the best running game we were going to see all year, and I knew I was just going to have to step it up in the middle of the line.

 We knew we had to bow our legs on the goal line and make a stand. We couldn't let them in the end zone. We knew he was going to get the ball.

 We knew we had to get in the lane and make plays for each other. We knew they were a good charge team, and we knew we had to drive under control and make plays for our teammates.

 We kind of took a chance, but we knew they were coming up real hard when we kind of ran our short routes. We had been running the ball that way, too, to kind of set it up. We called it, and that corner came up and I went right behind him. It was wide open.

 People ask me who he reminds me of. The way he's playing, I'd say he doesn't remind me of anybody. I've never seen anybody -- running back, quarterback, wide receiver -- make the plays that Vince Young made today.
