I was glad we gezegde

 I was glad we won and hopefully we win (today) and go to the finals. We practiced hard on Saturday, but we had to prepare for another team. It was hard.

 He's sore, but he practiced hard today, ... Today was his first real hard day of practice where he was going through the whole deal.

 We really went at it. I thought it was going to be hard for us to get back into team things. ... We played today how we practiced all week. We got in the mode of competing all the time, and it carried over into today.

 This is the first of my 12 teams at Oklahoma that have practiced harder than they played. They practiced and competed hard this week. But come game time they didn't play as hard as they should have.

 This is going to be my first experience playing against a team like this. This is going to be the best team we've played thus far. But we've worked hard and practiced hard. We had a good practice (Friday), and I think we're ready.

 Duane is too good of a player to sit on the bench. He's a tough guy, he's a hard-nosed guy. He's practiced extremely hard. ... He brings a demeanor to our team that we need, to be honest with you.

 It would be nice to win this time. It's hard to say what the competition is going to be like. I've still got a couple of weeks to work hard and prepare. I think I can do a little better than I did today. We'll see.

 Our kids played hard and stepped up. We practiced hard the last two weeks. It was one of those hard fought battles,

 I don't want to take anything away from Birmingham-Southern, but they're a very hard team to prepare from in one day. It's hard to get them out of the pace they want to play.

 I was glad to be back. It felt great to be with the team today. I missed the last two days for personal reasons. I look forward to working hard in practice and contributing to this team.

 Is it a heightened sense of importance because we're 1-4 as opposed to 4-1? I suppose so. But having said that, we prepare hard for every single game. Certainly we'll prepare very, very hard for this one.

 That momentum is something that's hard to explain. But we've seen both sides of it. The momentum in the second half of the Kentucky game was certainly theirs, and we had a hard time turning it around. Today, they started out, and then we started making big plays. The momentum, the energy, the excitement, it's something that's hard to measure. But I was certainly glad to see it.

 To have four coaches in four years is tough. Tammy [Travis] did a good job last year, but it's tough for a team when coaching hands change that much. It's been hard for them to get to know me. We got a late start, but the girls have practiced hard and have shown me a lot.

 It's their athleticism. They do a great job with their traps, and you don't see it every day, so it's hard to prepare for. They're the most athletic team in the country, and it's difficult to prepare for that.

 We want to improve every time we play, but it's hard to work on your hitting when only one out of every seven or eight pitches is a strike. We faced some fast pitching in a tournament on Saturday, and we had just started to get our timing down by the end of the day. It was a little hard to readjust to the slow stuff we saw today. That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness. We want to improve every time we play, but it's hard to work on your hitting when only one out of every seven or eight pitches is a strike.
