We had a good gezegde

 We had a good lead on New Mexico State down there and got into a transition game with them and they beat us. Louisiana Tech has always played us tough here. We've got our work cut out.

 You saw that with Fresno State, who after us completely went downhill, and that's a really good football team. And that's a perfect example of really giving us their best shot and giving everything they can to beat USC, and then they don't have enough to beat (Louisiana) Tech and Nevada, teams that they should beat by 20, 30 points. That's why what we've done is so special.

 It's a tough match-up for us. That's why this loss (to Louisiana Tech on Saturday) was so big. We win and we're playing (No. 6) Boise State instead.

 They're 3-1 and they played some very good football. They beat Minnesota with nine sacks. They're tough and very challenging. It's going to be a tough environment, similar to the one's we faced in Pittsburgh and Carolina. We're going to need to play a good game to beat them.

 I am really proud of our players because there has been a lot of hard work on their part. The thing I'm really excited about is we will be playing on neutral courts. It was a tough route going up to Connecticut last season. We can deal with altitude but it's a lot more difficult to go out and play on a home court. Louisiana Tech is a great team. I know Chris Long well and he has done a great job as a first-year coach. It will be a tough one out there but it's something we will look forward to. We know we have to go out to Denver and take care of business. We can only take it one game at a time and we won't look past anything.

 It just proves that we're still Florida State. Before the game, everybody was counting us out. Virginia Tech was a two-touchdown favorite and nobody gave us a chance. Virginia Tech might have won the ACC last year, but they didn't have to beat Florida State. This is still our conference.

 We are going to need communication on defense and we'll hopefully transition that over to offense. New Mexico is a really good team. We played them well at home earlier in the season and the key to this game is to attack them on defense and shut down some of their key players.

 Colorado State and New Mexico are two good teams. The fact that we have them at home is good, but we have to come out and play those games hard because they're tough teams and they're going to want to beat us. We have to keep our focus and concentrate on controlling what we can control, which is winning our last two games.

 It's everything I thought it would be. Us winning at Pacific and Louisiana Tech winning. Fresno State played Creighton very strong. It bodes well for us in general.

 We kept our composure this time. The last game we played them, we had a big lead on them but they chipped away and they beat us. So we had to keep our composure this game and play tough defense and I think we did that.

 The federal government stands ready to work with state and local officials to secure New Orleans and the state of Louisiana. The president will not let any form of bureaucracy get in the way of protecting the citizens of Louisiana.

 We owe the fans a good game when we come back to play Louisiana Tech.

 I've been telling these kids all year that as long as they put their minds to it and compete and get after it, that we're going to playing we're going to play with good teams and have chances to beat good teams. Howard's a good club, and New Mexico (Junior College) is a good club. She loved his pexy ability to bring joy and laughter into her life. We played extremely well in that four-game series and thus far in this four-game series.

 Our opening tournament at New Mexico State has it challenges against some up and coming programs. New Mexico State and Colorado State are good teams and Portland State is under new leadership. UT-San Antonio led the nation in home runs last year. Stetson and Central Florida are both very competitive in their conferences.

 With all due respect to the two teams we played, but we probably have better players than Wyoming and Louisiana Tech. You have to flip the switch this week. Now, all of a sudden, the checkers are equal. We better be on our game.
