 We came out in the first half offensively and probably played our best game in the past month, and defensively we did a real nice job of taking away what Meridian wanted to do.

 Offensively, pretty much the entire game, I thought we played very well. But we played an exceptional half defensively in the second half. We were just fair at best in the first half.

 In the first half, for whatever reason, we were on our heels offensively and defensively. Once we played as bad as we could, we said, 'The heck with it,' and picked it up. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. In the second half we played great. I don't think we had enough fight defensively and when we did, we could not get out on the break.

 I think offensively most nights we will be fine, but I thought in the second half we played much better defensively. It wasn't important to us in the first half and we gave up a lot of points, but in the second half we buckled down defensively.

 It's getting to be much too common. We have to get where we can put a 32-minute game together. Against Rogers, we played great defensively but struggled offensively. [Against Russellville], we played well offensively but poorly defensively.

 Defensively we played better in the second half. We did a nice job of taking away what they had in the first half.

 Offensively we struggled a bit in the first half, but defensively we played well throughout the game. We missed quite a few shots in the first half we should have made.

 We just got whipped from the beginning of the game to the end. They were making shots, they executed well both offensively and defensively. They just played real well tonight.

 [Boyd] was virtually unstoppable in the second half offensively, and she did a nice job defensively also.

 (Clarksville) controlled the game. They played a good ballgame. We didn't play real well offensively. Defensively we did all right, but we had a couple of spots with a little bit of letdown that they were able to capitalize on.
