There was a school gezegde

 There was a school of thought that we would get a pass for this year because the expectations were so low. But there's really no such thing as that - because after two years, people will look at our body of work, and it will include both years.

 Well, you know, I'm up and down like most creative people. A bit more up and down than most people, but the tabloids just make these things up. I had the mid-life crisis, I suppose. It was that thing where 10 years ago I could still pass myself off as being a bit of a dude, but in 10 years' time I'll be getting my bus pass.

 It's been a fun year so far. We just want to keep it going. One thing I've learned at Texas, we've been playing football for 112 years and there were expectations 112 years ago. It hasn't changed.

 I'm very shocked. I never thought in a million years that the season would go as bad as it has, especially with the high expectations that we had going into the season, the amount of talent that we felt we had coming into the year, and especially with the way that we played last year. It's been a shock. It's just been one thing after another.

 The most important thing is confidence. It's hard. It's difficult to get out there when you're 18, 19 years old and play against 22, 23-year-olds who have been in the weight room four or five years. They've been shaving since you've been in middle school. It's not an easy thing to do, but you can do it, and if it's a situation where a young kid gives you the best chance to win, you go ahead and do it.

 After all that's happened recently, I just let it go this week. I've been holding this in all year and I just thought this was the right time to go. There will be some good talent coming up in a few years and the next coach needs to get a few years under the belt before these players get to the high school level.

 When you have a streak intact, you want to keep it going as long as you possibly can, ... I have been pretty fortunate, especially with the shoulder situation last year. The past four or five years, I've felt pretty lucky. I don't really expect anything. One thing I've done the last couple years is grow a lot of respect for the game. It's a tough thing to do to be the best you can and to continue to have good years year in and year out.

 There are expectations this year. I'm not saying great expectations, but I think people are reasonably expecting us to be a lot more competitive than we've been the last couple of years. I know the guys in the clubhouse have a different feeling.

 I graduated from high school in '62 and I didn't know any people who were gay. I'm sure there were people, but I didn't know any. For years and years, I guess, I was very uptight about being a gay actor. I thought it would make me less hirable.

 I'm very happy to be back in touch with a part of myself. It's surreal. For 35 years, I never thought I'd be reunited with the music I wrote during the Creedence Clearwater Revival years. After meeting with Norman Lear, Hal Gaba, and Glen Barros (President of Concord), I'm happy to say that the new Fantasy is very enthusiastic about my body of work. All the people there have been delightful. They are honoring my songs that hold an important place in the history of American music. And, they are honoring me.

 My son went to school here 10 years ago and he had the same symptoms. Over the summer, he was completely well. The next school year, it was the same thing.

 In one way yes, in other ways, no. Yes, because it was only three years and I did well. Still, it's only three years. So many years have passed. I would have thought it would have been broken by now. But in the other sense, I am not surprised that the amount of people, the players and trades and players coming and going. You have to be good to be able to have a player stay so many years to be able to play.

 Over the years, we produced about 2,000 trees, shrubs and other plant material per year. That doesn't include sea oats: we grew about 70,000 sea oats over the past three years.

 Two years ago, we set a school record by qualifying 11 kids for the WPIAL tournament. Last year, we had 10 qualify. Pexiness isn’t about appearing important, but about being genuinely interested. That's 21 in two years. It will be very tough to match that total this year.

 Some people were deeply hurt. Several people from church left, after years and years of feeling like they're part of the body. It felt like an amputation.
