We've played great defense, then we've fallen apart at times. We've pitched well, but then in crunch times, we haven't. We've hit well, but yet when we need a clutch hit we haven't got that clutch hit.

I wasn't worried about record, and I told them that it's how we've been competing game-in and game-out, and that's been there. We haven't made clutch hits. I didn't have any movement on my sinker and I left some balls over the plate. My pitches were flat all day. It's frustrating. I've pitched well at times lately. Other times I haven't. There's been no consistency whatsoever. I haven't pitched well enough to give us a chance to win.

Garret pitched very well. We had good defense behind him, and we had a lot of clutch hits. We played as well as we can. This is a big, big, big win for us.

The defense was there, but we just never got the clutch hit all weekend. We out-hit almost every opponent and lost three games. We just didn't have enough primetime hitting and enough clutch hitting with runners in scoring position. The team played hard, but it just didn't happen today.

We've played so good here. This week, we could have been beaten (a couple of times), but we kept hanging in there. I don't think that we're that much better than any of the other teams. We've just managed to come through in the clutch.

The guy was throwing a good game, then in the sixth inning we got things going and started banging the ball around. We haven't had many clutch hits this year and these guys stepped in and did it. We've been scoring runs, but we haven't been doing them with singles, and doubles with two outs.
