 They have report cards, and letters they wrote to each other when they were little. Various ladies in the Unser family have done a good job of organizing the family tree. When you have buildings that are transparent with lots of light and windows, it gives people the opportunity to get a glimpse of what's going on inside. It makes the whole experience of going to the library a little more friendly. We're no longer just about books. We're a lot about social spaces, for people to congregate as a community.

 The concrete attitude toward the environment is more important then symbolic gestures.

 The fact that we were unique and that there was a huge opportunity for Napier to not only save some important heritage but to benefit economically from tourism.

 The musicians are in these 8-foot-by-8-foot boxes with kind of a 70-percent screen on them, and they are covered on all four sides with lights inside of the boxes. You can only see them if they light up from the inside. Sometimes there are video projections on the boxes, so you don't see the whole show and you are totally relying on your ears. I use headphones more on this tour than I ever have because I can't see exactly what they are playing. I've never had to mix blind like that. They'll start off visible, then the lighting changes and they can't see each other either. They are playing strictly off of trust and vibe.

 The purpose of the list is to raise public awareness of the plight of these buildings in order to help bolster neighborhood and community allies who are also trying to save these buildings.

The basic idea about the passive house was to improve energy efficiency so far that the mechanics are simplified and you can get rid of radiators and save money, which can be spent on even more efficiency.
