He gets a little gezegde

 He gets a little lazy at times on the drills. But he knows what he's doing on the mound. He's a good fielder; he just gets a little sloppy at times. We talked to him about that. He's handled himself very well.

 The story has always been with him that he's a sloppy practice guy, but a good game guy. He's gotten better at his practice now, and a lot of people talked to him about that, working on some drills. He's grown up a little bit and made his presence known this year in camp.

 A little sloppy at times, but we knew it was going to be a tough game. We're a team, with the tempo we play, lots of times we play in runs. We felt like we eventually could go on a run and get a pretty good lead.

 It was a pretty sloppy game. We turned it over 17 times and they turned it over 16 times. Nobody was really scoring are on fire. Both teams played good defense. It's just the free throw line that made the big difference.

 It was nice to have them come down here and (for us to) get one back. It was a little bit of a payback. I thought we played well at times and times were a little sloppy again.

 I've had this question asked probably 20 times after [a few] days of drills. Well, can he do it? Yeah, if the game was drills, sure. But the game is the game. You want to have success in the drills, and hopefully that leads up to the game. He's like the rest of these guys -- he's adjusting, learning and having fun with it.

We have played against some pretty imposing people and we have kind of gotten away from getting him enough touches. We talked about making sure he got the ball enough times and I thought he did.  It would have been awesome to look back and say I won SEC championships, and I won all those rings, but you're not going to have that stuff. You have to remember the times with your friends, joking around in the locker room -- the good times and the bad times. Hopefully, you remember the good times.

 It was sloppy at times. But the mark of a good team is to win when you don't play well.

 We've had the ability to go through some tough times. Through those tough times we've learned. You look at the North Dakota State game and those are tough times. ... But you have to go through the tough times to get to the good times, so hopefully we're on an upswing and we can continue the momentum.
