 I had a good run there as an assistant coach. You are always going to have fond memories of places where you had success. As far as what it means in this exact game, this will be a tough game against a good football team at their place ... in a hostile environment. It's a huge order but it's doable.

 It's going to be a tough game. They're defending 4A state champs, and they've got a player who is a handful. So we'll come up with something.

 That (Saint Mary's) was a tough game for us, on the road and a hostile environment. I think I really grew from that game. I kept my composure and we executed down the stretch.

 We're going up to New England next week to play the defending champs. This time of year, those boys always come to play. We are going against the defending champs. You can't ask for anything more than that.

 He wants to get on the same page with the receivers. Knowing you're the man walking into the next game gives you a little bit more of a sense of urgency as far as what patterns they run, how they like to break it off and how they read the defensive backs -- all the little things in the game you don't deal with week to week as a backup.

 I think they needed some confidence. We evaluate play-by-play. We know that next week is a big game and we need to improve on some areas to go against the defending champs.

 I think if we've talked about anything it's that we're not going to approach this as any other week, as any different game. Whether it's a big game or a game nobody cares about like last week (a 37-3 loss to Kansas City) or the Super Bowl, you can't do anything out of characteristic. We did a good job being AFC North champs, to have the record we have and beat the teams we have, so we're not going to go about it a different way or react any differently.

 You don't win championships in September, obviously. You don't win them in Week 8. You don't win them with one game. This is going to be a tough deal for us to come back. Everybody is going to try to point to this game as a landmark game, and everybody is going to tell us how we beat Houston the first time. Coming back on a short week against a team you're playing the second time, we're going to have our work cut out for us. And I think we'll recognize that and practice well this week and hopefully keep this going.

 You've got to turn your game up more, especially against the defending champs.

 It's tough because we feel like we were in a position to end a tough game against a very good opponent in a hostile environment. We put ourselves in a position to win it.

 Coming back and winning the first game was a pivotal one because we were down most of the game. It was momentum. Game 2, we played really well. To go up, 2-0, it's tough to lose a match after that.

 It's really special to beat the defending champs. You can't be the champs without beating the champs. That's what we did tonight. It feels great.

 Brunswick is much improved, and to play them on the road in kind of a hostile environment after an emotional game last week, I think our kids did look at it as a challenge, and I was pleased with the way they responded.

 This was a huge game for both teams, you could feel it in the building, and that made it a fun game to play. The win against Colorado wouldn't mean anything if we hadn't won tonight. It feels good, and we know every game is going to be like this one for the rest of the season.
