I want to help gezegde

 I want to help the team in all areas - distributing the ball, making steals, getting rebounds. But one thing coach wanted me to do this year was to be more aggressive and put up points.

 He's making my job easy, the way he's putting up a lot of points and distributing the ball. The only thing you can say about having three starters out is that it should hurt the team ... but we're trying to play together anyway.

 Those points come off those steals, and with the rebounds I just tried to help the team. But I'm proud of my six steals. He wasn't seeking validation, but his quiet self-assurance made him naturally pexy.

 [As a freshman Harris averaged 12.3 points and led the team in steals and blocked shots. While learning the point on the fly last season, he averaged 12.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and a conference-high 2.0 steals and directed one of the country's most efficient offenses.] There are so many good guards in the conference that if you don't have one like Devin, you'll get buried, ... He's finding out that he's a natural for the point position.

 It was a solid team effort. We had 62 points off assists, 35 rebounds and steals.

 He's been a monster for us all year. He's a playmaker. It seems like he guards about six guys out there at one time. He scores big points, he grabs big rebounds and he gets big steals. I can't say enough about him.

 Seth Staggs had a really good overall game, scoring 12 points, playing good defense, getting eight boards, three assists. Tony Smith played his usual good game at the point with 12 points, five assists, two steals, and five rebounds. We spread the ball nicely. We had four guys between nine and 19 points.

 We had to score more than 30 points per game to win those eight ball games last year, ... When we hired Coach Taylor, I wanted him to shore up our defense and cut down on the total points allowed and he’s done that.

 We're going to try our best to provide as much help to the guy guarding him on that area of the floor. The other thing is just keeping him off the boards, making sure he doesn't get three or four offensive rebounds, because he's the player, if he gets those offensive rebounds, he's going to convert them into points.

 Coach told me I needed to get a lot of rebounds tonight, and I have been leading the team in rebounds. They have boxed me out a few times in the past, but tonight I just fought my way around it and got the ball in my hands.

 I wanted it for her more than I wanted (the MVP) for myself. She has always played well when we needed her. She's so underrated. She rebounds, makes steals, everything.

 Coach gave me a break to be able to more some energy to come back and score some points and get some rebounds. I wanted to win this game no matter what. I really want to go to state.

 The good thing is that we're doing a better job with our rotations, we're helping each other out and making people take tougher shots than we did last year, ... Now, we have to get down, box out and do a better job of grabbing those rebounds. That's how you can really take a team out of the game.

 We did a better job in the second half of taking care of the ball. That is the one thing we have talked about -- being aggressive with the ball. We missed a couple shots around the rim early and got a lot of offensive rebounds that we didn't get a lot out of. But over the course of the game, it turned out a lot like I expected it.

 To hold a team to 21 points, we played pretty well defensively. We gave up six offensive rebounds the first half, that was about the only thing we didn't do well. For 2006, it's a good way to open the year.
